Disappointed
Love the idea. I ordered two, one for each car. Works best okay in one and horribly in the other. In one car the dash is thicker than the other. The part that clamps over the dash is deformed and does not have enough strength to hold the phone upright in a turn and the phone falls to the floor. My other rig has a thinner and flatter dash and it holds the phone okay but it is clear on the first week that they will not last.Sad, because if they used higher density plastic so it could remember it's shape it would be awesome.

The concept is great because you are looking in front instead of the side but the rubber it not strong enough to grip on the dash as it slips off and the cellphone falls off the dash. This is why I am not using this anymore.To fix this, they need the base to be wider and use better clap and rubber to hold on during driving, especially on bumpy roads.

Not with 2013 Suburban
Can't call it "universal". Does not work on 2013 Chevy Suburban. Won't grip or stay. 2 bumps and the whole thing falls on the floor. Go back to the drawing board because the idea is a good one.

I love the multiple uses
I use this everyday in my car. Perfect when using my phone GPS because I don't have to 'look away'. The location is directly in my line of vision. Bonus use -great place to hold my sunglasses.

Worked great when I first had it
Worked great when I first had it... Beware, do not leave this on top of the dash in hot weather as the heat will destroy the tension in the clamp. The part that clamps to the dash (i.e. "c"clip). The clamp is all plastic and will eventually lose any clamping tension once exposed to high heat during the summer if left on the dash.

Good product!
I didn't note that my dash had a bit of a curve (I have a Mazda) so I had to use command strips to keep it from flying off my dash. Other than that, good product!
