iOttie Universal Dashboard and Windshield Mounting Base for Easy One Touch Series and Auto Sense Mounts

This product doesn't work on leather dashbroad. The the suction cup on the holder works well. This should be put in the description of the product, telling that it will not stick to leather dashbroad.

Bought the complete system 7 years ago, and never had an issue until the base finally lost its grip a few weeks ago. Distraut at the idea of having to shell out $50+ for a completely new system, you can imagine my surprise & delight when I realized I could buy a new base for a mere $10! It arrived the next day, and first impressions lead me to believe this phone mount will outlast my car.

It keeps phone where I can see it while I drive

I only gave it 4 of 5 for suction as it doesn't actually have any suction, but it allows the iOttie suction cup to work properly.I haven't used it for that long to see how well it holds up, especially in hot dashboard sun or below zero cold.If you need to remove the old one (or this one) they say to use dental floss, but I found the floss breaks and cuts into your hands before you get it off.Instead, I used 30lbs braided fishing line, and used gloves and/or tie each end around a stick or spoon.-----------------It worked fine until the summer and the adhesive on the bottom gave out, with the iOttie attached. It just does not seem to handle the heat. I tried Shoe Goo and that didn't work either.It might be fine if 75 degrees (F) and below, but 80 - 120 on a hot summer day it can't handle it.I'm still giving it 4/5 stars for the cooler months.

seems to stick the best when you leave it two days before adding the phone holder. Which I never took the time to do prior!

The original phone mount kept coming off dash, this mount has kept it in place, even in the very hot summer heat hitting the dash

The media could not be loaded. ⚠️DO NOT BUY⚠️This product is not adhesive free and will make a big mess and will fail when it gets warm…In fact… after closer inspection it’s not even a suction cup… it’s just an adhesive pad… you can see the lip that runs around the edge to hold the adhesive in place.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT…I have to pay $8 to return it…

It works extremely well for a while but the suction cup has an adhesive that will degrade overtime and will make a big mess on your dashboard. I had to use GooGone and sole Acetone to clean up after removing my old one. I did purchase this again to replace old one. I use it with my Samsung Wireless Charger

Had a third party cheap windshield adhered phone mount when my iottie cup holder mount didn't fit the bill in a new vehicle. Was fine for about a week. Then the thing fell apart, as did the next one that I replaced it with. So glad that I could order just the arm and now I feel stupid I didn't do it sooner! Excellent product, super adhesion and super solid build! I won't be going back to cheap knockoffs.

The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 replacment bases for my iOttie phone holder. Perfect replacement Fast shipping. Easy 3M sticky tape secures it to the vehicle, any surface area. Works flawless.

Después que la almohadilla que incluye la base se derritiera por el calor ocasionado por el sol, por fin pude volver a usar el artículo que compré anteriormente, no se me hace tan bien que la almohadilla cueste 10 USD cuando el mecanismo entero para sujetar el teléfono me salió en 28 USD. Independiente de eso, es el repuesto original y funciona bien.
