Tons of fun for Kids and maybe… Dad too!!
This thing is so cool! We got as a Christmas present last year and our son loved it! Both the rockets and the launcher as still good as new to this day! He loves anything space so I knew it would be a big hit! His sister even wanted to do the count down to send it off flying! Definitely easy to put together! The kids will love it.. maybe even Dad or Mom! We all love going outside to send toy rockets into the sky!

Awesome! Bring an air compressor.
Our son's eight birthday was coming up and we wanted to get him a rocket. After a few minutes of browsing, we found this one. No parachutes or rocket motors? Sold!Assembly involves screwing the three legs onto the base, putting batteries in the base and wireless remote, and spinning the launch stand extension tubes onto one another. We had it done in about 10 minutes.Initial checkout proved that the bicycle pump wasn't going to work. It would have been exhausting and taken a half hour of manual labor for each launch. So I filled up our air compressor and took that out to the field. Setting 100 PSI on the compressor filled the launch base in about three seconds between each launch.Because of the no parachute design, the rockets landed within about thirty feet of the launcher. That made rocket retrieval fast. We were able to do several launches every couple of minutes. It was lots of fun and my son loved it! He can't wait to use it again.Overall, this system is spectacular! Five stars for both design and quality. But I do have two minor complaints...First is that the base requires a lot of PSI to launch a rocket. It really needs something stronger than a bicycle pump to charge the tank. If you don't have some sort of compressor capable to putting out around 100PSI, I wouldn't recommend this product. That should be stated on the product listing. My family happens to have a six gallon, 150PSI compressor. We were able to get several launches one one fill. But we would have been dead in the water without it.Second is that I can't seem to find replacement rockets for purchase. I imagine they will take some wear and tear over time. I don't want to have to buy another launcher just to get $15 worth of rockets. I'm sure I could get more from the vendor if I called and asked. It'd be nice if they were listed for sale on their web site or on Amazon.Overall, I highly recommend this if you have a portable compressor capable of putting out 100PSI.

Great when it works.
This thing is pretty awesome when it works. Worked for a couple of months (about 50 launches) before it stopped working.Pressing the launch button would result in nothing happening. After completing taking apart and testing, I verified the solenoid wasn’t getting enough voltage (less than 5 volts). What I did to fix was bypass the circuit board and hard wire the controller directly to the solenoid. Pressing both buttons on the controller completes the circuit and engages the solenoid.I suppose I could have attempted to identify the bad component on the onboard circuit, but I have already wasted enough time. My fix bypasses the tilt sensor, but I would rather have a working unit vs the brick that I had.Works like a champ again!

Wow wow wow
Okay the first one didn't work but they sent me a new tested one and let me tell you it was worth the couple day wait. It puts tbe rockets so high you can barely see them. Then crashes down close by with no damage to rockets or anything else. We love this Launcher. We want to buy another one just because it is so much fun.

Works well
The product worked extremely well. Our launches sent the rocket well over 200 feet in the air. The rockets are durable. When the come back to the earth, they nose cone simply bounces off the ground. We launched in a slight wind, and the rocket came down within 30 feet of us. The rockets are very sleek and so are not so much affected by the wind. The assembly of the launching unit was simple. A little more detail to the instructions would have been helpful. Care should be taken to hold only the gray plastic end units of the tube when assemblying the launch tubes, and not the white tube itself. Our assembled launching unit worked very well until one of the joints between the white launching tube and the gray screw in unit became loose. This allowed air to leak out when pumped up, and the rockets stopped going high. The air pressure was lost. We quickly saw the problem, and reglued the white tube to the gray screw-in part. This re-established the air pressure and the unit again performed very well. The foam on one of the rockets became torn after about 5 shots. This resulted in low flights due to the escape of air pressure. It was easy to fix with Goop glue.

To the Moon and Back
Christmas Ggft for 11 year old grandson. He LOVES it. Will use a battery powered tire pump to fuel stage one up. Stand back. The remote is very cool as it has LED indicators and it Talks. Tells when it is fueled up and ready to launch, tells if there is an error. 3,2,1, Blast OFF ! It goes WAY up. I mean this falcon 9 rocket flies to orbit fast! Nice thing is it comes pretty much strait back down allowing you to launch in smaller open areas. Need about a 40 foot radius. I'll tell you what, Dad, Mom, Grandpop all will have as much fun as the child you pretended to buy it for. :-)
