I am beyond impressed with this Fixerman iPad 9th Generation Screen Replacement! Very bad dead spots and won’t even work right because of it

My kids cracked and then shattered their iPad screen. The cost to have it replaced was practically paying for a whole new replacement iPad. Instead I bought this screen and did it myself. Tools that came with this screen are all you need and the screen itself makes the iPad look brand new and original to turning it on for the first time again. In total the time it took was roughly an hour and most of that time was removing the shattered screen. I’ll never take any device into a shop to replace the screen or any part again because 1. It was just too easy and 2. It price to do it myself with this company’s screen replacement makes this an easy decision. It’s been more than a month since replacing the screen and adhesion isn’t an issue, ghosting isn’t a issue and overall touch sensitivity is like having a brand new iPad. It’s perfect.

Let me start of by saying this product works well but it isn’t as smooth as the original apple screen but other then that I’m happy this was the first screen I have tried to fix myself and it took me a while around an hour or so but I got it done and I would feel alot more comfortable doing it again and I’m sure the time should get cut in half. I have it 4 stars based on the glitchyness of the screen and no longer having Touch ID but overall it’s worth it saved me $200

The media could not be loaded. I was kind of hesitant to buy it after seeing some reviews saying it was made of some bad quality plastic or that it has glitches. No it is not made of plastic and there are no glitches at all it looks and feels just like the original screen. Putting on the new screen is pretty easy although there are many ways to screw up. The hardest part is taking off the damaged screen. Make sure you watch some YouTube videos before doing it and double check a couple of times before doing anything, also treat it carefully during the installation, it’s made of glass and can break very easily until it’s fully assembled. Overall great product!

The screen works perfectly as advertised but buyer beware, this installation is EXTREMELY trickyYou first off need a heating pad to heat the glue on the manufacturer’s screen in order to remove it.Once you’ve done that long enough GOOD LUCK to you if your screen was cracked in any way (which is EXACTLY the reason you would buy a replacement screen)Your original screen is going to explode into a million pieces and pre-taping the screen with clear packaging tape helps but does t solve the issueSecond concern is the cleanliness of the inside of the housing. Once you remove the old broken screen take a LOT of time cleaning the small recessed edge where the screen sits. If you leave any tiny pieces of glue of screen or anything the new screen will not adhereAll this said the screen replacement works perfectly and disconnecting the pins and connectors isn’t that difficult
