ClarksMen's Cotrell Walk Oxford

When wearing shows for work, they need to feel comfortable. I usually use Nunn Bush shoes but I also knew that Clarks shoes were of high quality as well so I took the chance of ordering this pair. They are less expensive than Nunn Bush and during these hard economic times, every penny counts. When they arrived, I wore them at home for about an hour and the reason for that is that they were so comfortable, I forgot that I had them on. My floors are tile floors so it was not a soft surface. Since then I have wore them to work and they feel and fit great. Needless to say, I am happy with these shoes and when I need a new pair, I will look at Clarks shoes.

Simply very comfortable shoes. Look "dressy" but still casual without the super ridgid feeling of older-style dress shoes. I

Update:I have had these shoes for nearly two years and they have held together very nicely. They fit great and they are still comfortable. I bought another pair of Clark's since then and swap between them. The leather looks slightly worn, but it's not trashy. The soles are started to get rather slick and will most likely be the cause of these shoes demise. I still recommend them. They had a little heft to them and made me confident that they would get me through the long haul.The jury is still out on these. Like I said, they look nice, feel nice, and I like them... Just concerned they may not last. The soles do not appear as durable and the way the leather scuffs up if I accidently kick something has me on edge. But, I'm going to stick with them. Package seemed lite when delivered for pair of shoes. Shoes were even lighter. First look was solid clean lines. Didn’t see any scratches or marks since ordering from Amazon discount/damage warehouse. The original box had a slight corner crush as that was one of the possible flaws with the item. I can live with that. First time I wore them it was at the end of the day I realized that I noticed I was wearing new shoes. At 75 my feet tend to get heavy at the end of the day. These Clark shoes are lighter & more comfortable than the Clark tennis shoes I bought a few years back. And I loved them as well as this new pair.

Like the shoes' appearance and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. However aboit week 3 of occasional wear, one shoe started to squeak- not from under the tread, but from within a seam.I would buy if on sale, but not at full price. I have had other Clark's without this problem.

The images do it justice. They are comfortable but a little snug at first. Will need to wear a couple of days to break in.

Really pleased with these. After having a couple pair of Skechers fall apart, I was hunting for something with a similar style that was better made. Clarks did not disappoint - they are significantly better made, and substantially more comfortable. At first I wasn't sure as they were a little stiff, but this is actually a good thing. Any leather shoe/boot I've ever worn that held up were a little stiff at first. This is not to say they were uncomfortable, I was just unsure at first. After wearing them a few times, they broke in quite well and are incredibly comfortable. More so than most other shoes I've worn. The material over all is a much better quality. They're not heavy, but they don't feel cheap either (just right in other words). They're not quite as stylish as Skechers, but they're a close second, and for what you get for the money the trade-off is totally worth it.Follow up 2 years later: Still happy with these. I wear these in cool weather (fall, winter, early spring) so not every day of the year, but a good bit of the year. Having just put them on again when the warm weather finally broke, I was reminded how much I like them. Still super comfortable and in great shape. The sole is a bit worn and will be the first thing to wear out probably, but for the price, fantastic shoes. I'll be sad when the sole goes because the rest will still be in good condition, and you better believe I'll be back to buy another pair of Clarks.

Fits exactly as I expected. A very comfortable walking shoe needing very little "break in".
