Great for our need
This fan will live in our RV refrigerator to circulate the air to make it more efficient. We will use a small battery to run it, so the usb connection is perfect for our need.

Easy to use. Powerful. Not too loud.
this is a great fan. compared to the thermaltake, it is slightly louder but it is also a bit more powerful (you can feel the air moving against your hand). it also sits against the ground, unlike the thermaltake, which is lifted on a stand about half an inch. so if the computer is flush with the desk, this is a better option. finally, this fan looks nicer in all black - more like a finished product than the thermaltake. note that we didn't use the black pegs that go onto the screws as shown in the picture and it works fine and looks fine. it looks hard to put together when you first get it, but it is just a matter of screwing in a few screws and then throwing away the black footstands. very easy.

Excellent Quality Quiet Fan And A Very Good Value
This fan is extremely quiet, and it moves more than a reasonable amount of air. I purchased it to add additional cooling to my Coolermaster U3 laptop Cooling Pad. I have mounted it directly under my laptops CPU because it has higher output than one of existing fans. There was plenty of room on the U3 for the existing 3 fans to be reconfigured. The fans that came with my cool pad have sleeve bearings. So when they start to go, I'll buy 2 more of this fan, as 3 can easily fit. As a side note to this review, I do not plan on buying another cooler, as mine is designed so that any fan can be easily installed in minutes. It is linked below for anyone interested. An excellent one to consider if you have the need. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is the same fan as the "cooler guys" fan, at a lower price. The "cooler guys" logo is on the fans hub. With the dual ball bearings, I expect this fan to last a long time. I highly recommend this fan for it's quality and value. Thanks for reading. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision. ---> Cooler Master NotePal U3 - Laptop Cooling Pad with 3 Movable Fans ___________________________________________________________________ ***UPDATE Dec. 26, 2013. While I still stand by my review for the quality of this fan, I recently purchased 2 of the fans below. I have concluded that these are better fans with more features, and are worth considering. ---> AC Infinity AI-MPF120A Quiet 120mm USB Fan for Receiver DVR Playstation Xbox Computer Cabinet Cooling

Might just be what I needed
I have been considering getting into ageing beef. I found an article on the Food Lab's website [...] where the author uses a small desk fan inside a mini refrigerator to circulate the air. The one drawback was that she had to cut a slot in the door seal. After thinking about this I bought a pair of USB fans which have a much smaller cord. I have also been looking at mini refrigerators and it looks like the Daewoo FR-15B compact refrigerator maybe the best selection. My intentions are to use bundle ties to suspend the fans under the lower shelf.

A great solution for a niche scenario
My entertainment center is filled with more game systems, HTPC systems, and various support doodads than the limited ventilation can accommodate. I've had no failures nor any forced shutdowns due to heat, but it runs rather warm--hot air in = even hotter air out. I've tried some ad hoc solutions, including a failed Nyko Intercooler to cool an Xbox 360 (never worked), but it was time for a more robust solution.Considering the lack of failures without added cooling, not much help was needed, but I knew I needed to help get cooler air in and the warm air out. I bought a couple fans for general airflow and then ones for each of the game systems to help when they were turned on. Each device has seen a 3-5 c drop in temperature (idle), with the Xbox 360 benefiting most (it's inlet is at the rear where air was stagnating before). These don't move a ton of air, but they do move air. 5v isn't much to power these, but they are efficient.I gave these 5 stars for being very good for what they are, but it's not a panacea.

Works as advertised
Produce was exactly as advertised and just what I was looking for. Worked right out of the box.2 drawbacks—I had to put on the blade grates (not sure if this was specified) and I was missing a screwGood product for a small but troubling problem

Includes Rubber Feet and 2 Metal Grills
I debated between this fan and the Coolerguys 120x120x25mm USB Fan with Grill to cool a WD TV Media Player .Pros:- My Dec 2015 order came with two metal grills and 8 rubber feet.- Includes 2 USB plugs. I daisy chained it to another fan.- The rubber feet are definitely better quality and more permanent than the cheesy little stick-on foam feet that come with the Coolerguys fan.Cons:- By my ear, it is a couple decibels louder than the Coolerguys fan.I like this one better primarily because of the rugged rubber feet and the inclusion of 2 metal grills.

Works okay
Got this partially because it was USB based. I also wanted a fan to help with air circulation i.e. help the hot air to get out. It is pretty quiet though I might want it to be less quiet and more air flow. Note that on my computer if there is power to the computer, even if it is off, the fan draws power through the USB and will keep running.
