This tastes delicious! Sort of sweet and has vanilla notes. Really unique! Amazing health benefits for digestion. I take this along with Triphala. Really nice to mix in warm water and drink as a tea. This stuff really works. I am specifically referring to the intestines and the act of elimination. I won't go into the details, but all I can say is that taking three capsules per day has revolutionized my bowels. This bilva powder is made from the leaves of a plant called "bael" (Aeagle marmelos) which has been a part of India's pharmacopoeia for 5000 years and is used for numerous treatments of diseases including tuberculosis, diabetes, urinary diseases, epilepsy and digestive disorders. It is also a source of nutrition being rich in alkaloids, polysaccharides, antioxidants, beta carotene, vitamin C, and Vitamin B. So overall it's a good thing to take and I am glad I have added it to my daily regimen of natural supplements.

This has worked for me for a long time, but the last two times i have received it, it tasted bitter, earlier it used to taste sweet. Nevertheless i did give it a try but whenever i did i eneded up with upset stomach. Not sure if it's made of real bael fruit or not. Anyone who wants to try it just be cautious about this. If you feel upset stomach, i would suggest not taking it again.

This powder helps control my IBS. It is the only product that helps that I have used. It is not perfect, but it does help.

I purchased this item after becoming very ill with a bacterial infection. I believe the Bilva powder helped my GI system heal, and especially helped avoid any adverse effects from the antibiotics. I have continued drinking this tea daily. It has a sweet taste and is soothing to my system.
