Read this, very cool blower
I really like this blower I usually try to stick with a company for the same battery use so we can change them this one's different from Green works but it's pretty much the same color so it looks cool and the battery is 57 volts where my other ones are 40 for the green works but this one the battery is massive and it drains pretty fast cuz I always like to use the highest possible setting and knowing that this thing's got so much volume I thought wow this can be multiple purposes here right so blowing leaves and all that is great you got the rake style blower tip which is the elongated and it gets a wider narrower path not narrow as far as whatever but anyway it's better for like a broom effect and it's got a wide path but a thin path as far as the height goes so it focuses on what be like a parking lot in front of you with a bunch of leaves and it really disperses the air to get a wider zone for blowing everybody likes to blow okay this could go south in a minute a larger area in your parking lot yeah that's better so since this thing really has some Force I thought well this could be really cool like drying off my pickup truck you know so it doesn't spot when I get water on it and the tubes are pretty long but then I found that they have this secondary thing you can buy it's a nozzle for this thing it's really short and it pin points the air even more and it's about 10 inches long and it hooks up like the rest of the nozzle wood and it's actually designed for shorter applications that closer to you it should be like blowing water off your truck I thought wow they were thinking of me when they made this so I wouldn't use that type of blower attachment on a nice car because there is no filter on this you know say something got in it and it went through it could like scratch up your car but since it's just a work truck and we don't want to get spots all over it after rinsing it off we can just use this for that purpose and it works great the air volume is this freaking unbelievable the turbo button makes your arm fly backwards and I thought wow this could be really cool so let's say which I did I bought two of them one for my carrying at the truck for different properties and one at one of our bigger properties for the maintenance guy to use. So what I was thinking was if I took two of them with me with those short attachments on them I mounted them on the side of my canoe they'd be like a little jet packs put them in the on position you don't have to paddle this could be really neat I am going to do that just as a joke but I think other than tipping over and ruining them this could be like a thrusting okay again Michael South with this one when you the air could be thrusting the canoe forward and you don't have to paddle the canoe and you can even adjust each one like a rheostat so it could be like really high on one side low on the other and you can turn with them so anyway I'm going to try that just for fun and you know whatever cuz I'm goofy and the best thing about these things that they blow leaves could bullies right back up on the trees That's How Strong these things are and go with it for some reason when I bought them they were like $200 and a coupon on them now they're almost $300 so apparently with wonderful reviews like this they just raise the prices so I could say that they're junk but they're really not and I don't usually reviews because I just voice text the words come out all Goofy and wrong but you know what I don't even use punctuations as you probably know so I might go back and change one word up there it said Michael and it was supposed to say might so anyway if you saw that word Michael I'm not going back and change it it's supposed to say might so anyway try to go back and reread if you think something sounded really weird but no you read it properly I am going to mount them to my canoe on each side just to see what it does. And if it is really cool I'm going to edit this in the future and add to it and make a video

Very good blower. I think how powerful it is. Great quality. Definitely a good buy.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great blower. I have other products made by ego. This one is very strong. Super powerful. It even comes with a strap. I can now use it for 1 hour. Great quality. Easy to assemble. Tht sked control is super. I really like the turbo mode.

Independence from the electrical line without the racket of gas engines.
Powerful as a gas blower but the battery is good for only an hour. Actually having to take a break to recharge it is good since I'm well into my 70's. It is easy to use and lightweight so I can clear our heavily wooded rear yard in about 2 hours if I do the job every 7 days. A powerful blower that is far quieter and lighter than a back pack gas unit.

Lots of power, well-built, good run time.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this blower because I needed something with power. I have leaves, sticks and pine needles embedded in a rock yard and my current blower did not have enough power to lift / dislodge them. I was going to get the 880, but after watching a few videos and comparing stats, I felt this one would have enough power. It does and I'm very happy with it. I got all the power I was looking for in this model. It comes with a 2.5 and a 5.7amp hr. battery. The 2.5 they should probably stop making, the low run time is misplaced hope. The larger battery does a great job. Only con is I'm left-handed and the strap connection is for right handers only. The blower is well built and does have some kick when running. I was looking at gas; I didn't know the new blowers were as strong since the last time I bought one 15rys ago. I'm glad I tried this first as they have improved greatly. Also, it is much quieter than my old blower. If anyone at EGO reads this - LEFT HANDED matters too.

Broke after 13 months. Feels like 10-15% difference from the 530.
I bought this 765cfm model in April 2024.In June 2025, it broke. (13 months)I was using it with a 7.5ah EGO batteryI was using it in 0:30-10:00 minute increments. Just doing regular lawn stuff.I set it down. (Power off)I picked it up, pulled the trigger - I think it spooled up for a split second, and immediately died. Kind of like when you get an overheat warning or something - it kind of turned on/makes an effort to start, but immediately dies.I had to drive it 15 miles away to the repair center, and drop it off for about a week. The guy told me the "electronic assembly" broke & was replaced. Fortunately it's under warranty for another 4 years.I can't remember anything odd leading up to this. It just gets used for average suburban lawn stuff. My guess is that a fuse blew or something. IDK.Prior to this, I had the 530 CFM for about 4 years, and it worked without problem. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence.Overall, I can't really compare the 530 and 765 models. I think either is fine for residential/suburban use. I would probably put more weight on things like weight, sound, whether you like the triggers/interface, etc.Kind of like Ryobi vs Milwaukee - sure, one is supposed to be better. IRL, IME, I have rarely come across a situation in my average DIY life where I couldn't get the job done with Ryobi. If you can find a great deal on a used 530, I wouldn't hesitate to get one. The Ryobi Whisper line is supposed to be really nice and quiet too if you already have the batteries. If you have a situation with wet leaves, nuts/fruit, etc. & need the power, then it's probably worth looking for video comparisons. If you're just on a budget, and looking to save money, then I wouldn't feel bad at all about going with the 530 over the 765 (or 615, whatever). I would probably pay another $20-40 for the 765 - it's really hard to say. I really doubt that I've ever noticed the performance difference (just blowing around grass clippings, dust, car washing) - the bigger difference to me would be sound, weight, trigger (and I can't recall the differences there. I know I wound up liking the 765 enough to keep it)I think I paid $330 OTD for the blower, charger, 5ah, and 2.5ah battery. I justified it as $30 charger, $115 2.5ah, $135 5ah, $50 leaf blower. I think I sold the 2.5ah and charger for $140, so paid $190ish. I guess a $75 blower and $115 5ah battery is about as good as it gets, brand new OEM.If I were to look at anything else, I'd probably watch youtube videos comparing noise between the Egos & Ryobi Whisper model, or other brands. The most annoying thing is the knob on the left side. About 1-in-20 times that I pick it up, I either hit the knob with my thumb, or the ground, and kick the blower on. If you store it indoors it can be a nuisance. One of those upgrade dilemmas - do you want to try to keep up-to-date, and eat the depreciation every few years? Or run it til it dies & it's obsolete. Hard to say. If you've got the 530cfm model, I'd ignore the upgrade itch, unless you find a deal too good to pass up.

Convenient to use.
Works great on patio and lawn. Use very often because of convenience. Came with extra battery. It is a little heavy, but comes with a shoulder strap.
