I bought these to use in some home made chilli oil in order to infuse some taste and heat into the oil.They come in a zip lock style bag, so can be sealed up to prevent them absorbing moisture when stored.They smell nice and contain their seeds (the seeds can be heard if you shake the chilli)They have a nice dark red colour, and come in various sizes from small (the size of a small finger) to large (size of an index finger).

I have never used dried chillies before but these are great. Just enough heat but add more for more heat.

Red chillies. Nice and tasty in my Indian cooking. I use only one chilly at a time as it can be too hot to taste but makes the food taste delicious!

I have used Kashmiri Chillis in my cooking since watching Rick Stein's Indian series. I've bought them at the local Indian food shop (in Leicester) and online through Amazon before with great success.These Chillis are, however, singularly disappointing! There is a hint of the rich smokey flavour I've come to expect but much reduced compared to other brands I've tried and there is no heat at all, none, not a sausage...I was expecting heat similar to the Natco Kashmiri Chilli Powder I have, and that rocks, but I was sadly disappointed. Gave two stars for the flavour but being generous to be honest.I'll be looking for a different brand in future.

Easy to use and storeCareful as they are hot-depending on your taste buds-I just use less in my recipes.
