I keep the transmitter in my purse, it's small.

The sizes are given if you scroll down to the manufacturers info and you can tell by the pictures when they are shown with keys.

Q: Will this Warn you if you are leaving your wallet or keys behind?

It will not warn you if you leave your item behind. There are 2 buttons and 1 controller. But if you put one in the wallet or on the key, when u forget it just push the corresponding color button and it will beep if you are in range. My Vision Impaired Grandaughter carries the main control button and I carry one of the buttons when We go shopping for Our items. She beeps me when She’s ready. The other button goes on Her Charger that goes missing. I think it’s great and going to order more.

Q: Is this device capable of emitting rf energy?

No, it's not. The amount of energy coming out of this tiny battery is absolutely unnoticeable. You're going to get more out of your cell phone next to your ear or standing ten feet away from your microwave. This on the other hand has a battery the size of a watch battery. Not capable of any problem or harm.
