Great beginner instrument!
Absolutely perfect for a beginner! I started practicing right away without any problems. The instrument sounds and looks good, the case it comes in is very nice and sturdy! This is the best unbeatable price and quality to try out clarinet, I am very happy (practicing every day!)

Great for a beginner and price
Good price for a child to start out with my son is in 5th grade and purchased this to see if he really want to stay in band then eventually graduate to a nicer one

Happy to be playing again!
I am very pleased with the sound and overall quality at a "you can't beat it" price. It's been 30 years since I've played and I. Can tell this will be great! You will need to get more cork grease...the only negative. The adjustable thumb rest is a nice surprise but at the moment it feels weird until I can get it in the right spot. I would definitely recocommend this one and I will be exploring to see if they make any other instruments (because I can't play just one). Love the added stand (I wondered where it was at first...in the bell...duh) .... I got the purple one....for the little kid....nah, the big kid in me!!!

Poor quality
I played clarinet years ago in school but never owned one. I purchased this and within 3 days several keys no longer worked and notes in the upper range wouldn't work. I took it to a local music shop to have them take a look at it, and he said to return it. Their repair man wouldn't even try because the materials are too flimsy. The keys didn't fit into the holes correctly so air was escaping around them. Just putting it back in the case caused one of the keys to bend and almost break off.

Works fine, sounds good. Ordered this for my son. He's been playing for around 2 years now and wanted to add some color to his performance. He's enjoying it just fine. And you can't beat the guarantee that they offer.

A solid child’s learning clarinet. However, if not maintained meticulously it does get worn down quickly. Daily maintenance of this instrument is required regardless of what is stated by the manufacturer. If not, you’ll be here leaving a poor review and on the hunt for a replacement.I refused the warranty. I figured it’s not needed and would be a pain to constantly ship out. If my child continues with this instrument and shows a great desire for it. Of course I will utilize a local music store and the warranty.
