Great bottle, easy to clean
I already had a 16 ounce size and wanted a 20 ounce also. Nice quality and I like the feature of the cap permanently attached. Twists apart for easy cleaning.

Brilliant
I've been looking for a reusable plastic water bottle, with the shape/profile of disposable bottles (longer than I'd like to admit). The shape is important to me because many water sleeves only fit smartwater bottles, and I hate using disposable water bottles due to plastic waste.I was initially skeptical of this bottle, but after spending 4 hours with this bottle, I am impressed. 1) This is the only water bottle I own that fits the Fjallraven backpack’s ridiculously small side pockets 2) The fact the bottle cap has a connector loop is genius. No fear of dropping the cap and losing it 3) I like the aesthetic. I think it's cute that it looks like typical disposable bottle. The ribbed sides also help with the grip. The only downside is the plastic quality isn't great, but for this price point, it's to be expected. It's fully functional and durable so I cannot complain too much. I do hope they later make a luxe version that costs more and uses better plastic.Update: My girlfriend keeps using mine, so I decided to get another one for her.

best water bottle
like most people, I have lots of different water bottles -some thermal, some with straws, etc. but I always come back to this one. I have two of them and I've had these for YEARS. I am buying more for x-mas gifts. It's the right amount of water when working out, going for a walk, in the car - and the best thing is that it's so easy to clean. Really, that's probably what makes this the best bottle. There are no straws to clean, no flip top mechanism to clean, etc. It comes apart in the middle -and I unscrew the top and put both pieces in the dishwasher. Does it keep your water cold -nope -but I don't really care about that -and if I did I could add ice - they are easy to carry, easy to clean and last forever.

Maybe over-engineered?
No idea what might be the reasoning so I'll say only MAYBE over-engineered but the tiny area of silicone between the top quarter and bottom of the bottle was something I really didn't like. The way the silicone is down in there would make it nearly impossible to clean after soaking these during dish washing. So, we took it out with a toothpick. The bottle still seals without it and we had multiple. It was true for all of them. So, it just felt like a mold trap. Still does actually. I wish it was a solid piece or at least not so deep so it can be cleaned better.Same for the purple sleeve. It is WAY WAY WAAAAAY too stiff! It took so long to get them off to be cleaned for the first time. I almost didn't put them back on. Might last you a long time but I would go for something softer and the option to buy replacements or have it come with extra parts any day!The purple ring on the cap also isn't removable. Again, because it's very stiff.Weird list of complaints for a 4 star review but it's a mostly solid product otherwise and it's very unique.

Been using these bottles forever
Literally been using these bottles for years, this is the first one I’ve bought to actually replace one of the older ones rather than just because I wanted another/larger one. In general, for many reasons, I prefer a metal water bottle to a plastic one, but I like that they unscrew in the thick part of the bottle, not just at the top, because it makes cleaning easier and allows you to put in things like fruit or ice cubes that wouldn’t fit through the narrow top, or add like, protein powders or similar with less fuss. I also like that the cap is attached by the strap, so you don’t have to worry about dropping it.The seals on all of my bottles still work great, I do occasionally use a butter knife or something to pull out the rubber seal where it unscrews at the thick part of the bottle so I can specifically wash and reinsert it, but yeah, still no leaks. The reason I finally needed to replace one of my bottles was because it (ironically not the oldest, but the second oldest) got a crack *above the seam where it unscrews, possibly due to a combo of the stress of unscrewing and the fact that I’d often leave the bottle on the top shelf of the fridge overnight and it gets cold enough that liquids close to the roof of the fridge will sometimes freeze at the top. Even that crack doesn’t actually leak, even though I can pull it open, but it felt like time to replace it. I don’t actually know how long I had it, but it was at least purchased in 2015-2016, if not before, and I use these bottles pretty much daily, so I feel satisfied that it was worth the purchase! If there are any negatives, it’s that the plastic is pretty thick, so they’re sturdy, but not as light as you’d expect for plastic. I think my insulated aluminum bottles might actually be lighter when they’re empty, and if they’re not, then they’re about the same. Also, these aren’t insulated at all, despite the thick plastic, they will sweat and they will not keep things cold or warm. Finally, I’m sort of at a loss about what to do with the cracked one. I don’t think it’s recyclable and I hate to just throw it away?
