One con: It's longer than my original 40w incandescent bulb, which made it difficult to install in my WP over the stove microwave. The pros are that it works well, much brighter than the previous one, shoud last several years, instead of 18 months like the last one, and uses more than 80% less electricity.

Bought these to replace bulbs in my mom's stove light and they worked great since they were brighter than the original which helped since her vision is not too good and could be dimmed if necessary.

I use them in my under-counter microwave when I'm away from home. The warm color is perfect. No more coming home to a dark house. 30,000 hours should last 41 months if use were constant, so I expect to replace the microwave before I have to replace the bulbs.

I have used several sets of these to replace the incandescent hood bulbs under our microwave. They are bright enough to make stovetop cooking easily visible, the color of the light is natural, and they do not flicker even when dimmed.I knocked them down 1 star for durability. I realize that a hood above a hot stove/oven is a tough place, but these seem to burn out after a year or two. It would be nice if they lasted longer. Never the less, I’ve bought a second set after the first burned out because of the rest of the positive features.

Works fine in our Whirlpool microwave. We wanted the light to be much brighter than the one that comes with the microwave. This bulb fit perfectly and is much brighter.

I'll add to the general praise everyone has for these. I loved these. I had tried an LED before, years ago, but the flickering and lack of dimming wasn't great. I never had any problems with these. I got a nice, bright light and it worked when I dimmed them as well. After having them for a couple of years, one of the two bulbs had burned out. For some reason I decided to replace them with standard incandescent bulbs.I immediately regretted it.The light that came out was far dimmer, yellow light that made everything look grimy. I went right back and ordered another pair of these. Even my wife, whose not very particular about lights and in past not liked daylight temp LEDs saw the light coming out and wrinkled her nose

Update 5/30/24: Two bulbs in original order + 2 replacement bulbs sent in October. Three of the four bulbs either have failed completely or will light and then turn off. I don’t know if the issues are with the bulb or with the microwave the bulbs are installed in. The microwave is a GE over-the-stove type. The bulb compartments have covers with glass panes and screw fastenings, so the bulbs do get very warm to the touch. I’ve tried switching the bulbs between the two compartments but that doesn’t make any difference. The reason I’m suspicious of the oven is that opening and closing the oven door will often make the problem bulb come back on again. The bulb won’t stay lit, though.Given that an incandescent bulb is $4 nowadays and only lasts for a two or three months I’m ordering another set of these. At $7 per bulb for 6 to 7 months plus some savings in electricity I think we’re still coming out ahead with the LED bulbs. Would like to see some longer lifespans on these!Update 10/11/23: One of the two bulbs installed in our microwave stopped working properly after about 15 weeks in service. After verifying that the problem was with the bulb rather than our appliance I reached out to the seller’s Customer Service team via e-mail (lacnooe@163.com). I explained the problem and provided the product information along with the Amazon order number, order date, and my contact information. I received a reply the day after I sent my e-mail. I was told that these bulbs had a two-year warranty, and was asked to verify my shipping address. I received a new set of bulbs just three days after that! Excellent customer service, very friendly and responsive. Thank you!This is the ticket for those of us with "older eyes" that need brighter lights in our over-the-range microwaves. These bulbs fit our GE microwave and provide the equivalent light of 2-60 watt bulbs on "High" setting. On "Low" setting the new bulbs provide as much light as standard 40 watt incandescent bulbs on "High". No sign of any flickering. Light color is "Warm White". Shipped very quickly!

I originally purchased a slight variation, which was 7 W / 60 W replacement. That was too long to fit in the microwave space.Once I bought the 5W (40 W), it fit fine. I wish it were a little brighter, but it works well.
