this thing saved me so much time by pinpointing the right breaker in just minutes i almost did a victory dance.

I purchased this to measure current in my breaker box and it seems to work well. Upon checking I see that is is actually a multimeter with probes that can check just about everything. It comes in a nice carrying case and even includes two sets of batteries. It has auto shut-off if you forget to turn it off and also has the option to light the screen if you need it. My only suggestion would be to eliminate the two sets of batteries and include one set of Alkaline or lithium batteries instead of the included Heavy-Duty batteries. Overall, a great unit at a nice price. I would buy it again.

For the price, durability, quality this is a great " starter " Multimeter. I looked at numerous brands and features and came to the conclusion this was a great model to pass out to the new guys entering the trades in my group of HVAC trainees.

But I know one that likes it

I can't speak to the longevity because I've only had it a few days. But it is just as accurate as a fluke $500 meter. Myself and our electrician were testing a motor and he had his expensive Fluke meter clamped on the hot wire measuring the Amp draw so I got my cheap $20 meter out and put it on the same wire it read the same as his and the screen was easier to read then his and turned red when it over amped. I was very surprised how great it works!

Built in voltage meter really comes in handy as well

Great little digital voltmeter. I’m not using this everyday it will serve its purpose. If your an electrician you might want something a little more fancy. This does the trick for us DIY at home. Light weight, compacted, good LCD SCREEN and cables included are decent although a little short. I like the fact it has its own case to fit back into. Note the instructions are hidden in the case pocket if you need them.
