Used it for a neck injury from a car accident. Doesn't get really cold and doesn't start cold for long. Maybe like 45 minutes.

Horrible design for the neck. This ice is compartmentalized into 9 tiny ice blocks. Great idea actually, the problem is the are wrapped in plastic. The plastic have very sharp edges that dig into your skin. The side that is meant to be flat to your neck is only mesh so every compartment with a sharp edge scratches the crap out of you. Would be a fantastic ice pack if the design of the compartments of ice were in a higher quality casing. Tonight I scratched my neck up good, felt worse with my sunburn. I have been putting up with it now for over a year. I am buying a new brand, new design.

This is a new staple in our home. The ice pack insert is easy to remove, put in the freezer, and put back in the wrap the next day. HIghly recommend.

Wonderful, flexible cold wrap for a very awkward area to ice. The insert freezes quickly & feels great on arthritic vertebrae, however it does not conform to the side of your neck & Velcro is stiff & scratchy when adhered. Still, the relief is a blessing & 100% better than a hard cold pack wrapped in a towel! A bit thinner & softer on the skin would make it 5 stars.

I need things that can cool me down. With my MS, it is bad if I get hot. So many symptoms going on at once is very hard on me. I have been waiting to ask my dr. about a cooling vest. I saw this and wanted to try it. If it helps my body to keep cool, then I would know that a cooling vest would help before I invest the money for one. When I opened it, I couldn't figure out how to get it around my neck. It only went a little more then half way around my neck and there was no way to connect it. I kept looking at it and "Bing", I realized that the Velcro strip was folded back on its self. The velcro is so strong, it was hard for me to get it loose but I did and then everything was fine. The stitching was even and it is a great size (after I figured it out.) It helps me a lot with the heat and when the muscles in my neck tighten up with pain, I pull this out of the freezer and put it on. I would recommend this ice pack to anyone who has neck pain.
