This is a good product. Make sure to pop off the plastic case and place the bag of charcoal out in the sun for a couple hours.Remember to put it out in the sun about once a month to clean and recharge it. It's low maintenance, that's for sure!Then slip the bag back into the case (it's not absolutely necessary to), and put it anywhere where you'd like to get rid of odor, or moisture.I put this one in the top shelf of the fridge. I kinda let it chill there and forgot about it for a couple days. Then when I opened my fridge door, I took a deep whiff and smelled- nothing. It smelled absolutely like nothing. Which is like smelling roses.That fridge is always stuffed with leftovers, and I promise you, it has ALWAYS smelled like SOMETHING. The whole air quality inside the fridge literally feels different.This odor neutralizer truly absorbs excess moisture, which helps to prevent mold. That's why it's so effective inside a refridgerator.It's funny... sometimes you just get used to the smells around you, until they disappear. I think that's the name.. or similar sounding.Next I'll try the coconut activated charcoal kind, which claims to work more effectively but we'll see. For now, this bamboo activated charcoal does its job and gives you better peace of mind.

My husband travels for the railroad and usually car pools with several of the men he works with. When they get of work on Fridays they hit the road and head home (traveling up to 15 hours after a 10 hour shift with no shower). Needless to say HIS CAR SMELLED HORRIBLE!We tried every air freshener you can imagine. He even kept a bottle of Air Freshener spray in the car and used it after every trip. Still, nothing…. We tried Shibui’s Activated Charcoal as a last ditch effort and within a few days it worked! I can finally ride in his car without the windows down. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

good order absorption in small areas like closets and bathroom but limited effectiveness in a 10x7 room with a single cat liter box and a single cat who only uses that box when upstairs, she has 3 litter boxes; I am happy with the one in my Malibu and I am a smoker and the car is very clean and I leave no butts and ashes in the car but my wife who does not smoke used to be able to detect the fact I had smoked in the car, and since I added the Shibui she has not said anything in 3 months- that says it works in cars very well

I mount this on the in vents of my window air conditioner unit to help keep the odors from the room getting inside and smelling bad later. I wish I could find one a little bigger. I have tried so many different things and this one is near the top of the list of my solutions.

I bought this product for under my kitchen sink because it was musty smell after changing out a leaky faucet. To my surprise this product actually worked. I was happy that it shipped so fast. I changed to 5 stars because after using it, I discovered if you put it in the sun a couple hours it reactivate it and the odor under my sink has been an ongoing problem for about 3 years. PRobles finally solved.

I put one in the clothes dryer when not in use. After a few days, I opened the dryer and it smelled like clean fresh air. I also put these in the plastic underbins - under the bed - which have always had a strong chemical smell and these odor absorbers cleared out that smell, too. Very good product.

Got these for both the home and work fridges and the room with the litter box. Work great for ll three--even that science project called the work fridge!

Had garlic in the outside Refrigerator and this took it out in short order. It makes a noticeable improvement.
