Here's what you need to know --This chair does not lean back. The two stars I'm docking are for this alone. The mechanism that you twist and adjust to give it more / less lean does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. For this much money for a chair, it should lean. This is borderline false advertising.-It's a firm sit, but not at all uncomfortable. I'm actually VERY pleasantly surprised with the lumbar support. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs and it's roomy width-wise, perfect depth-wise (I tend to sit on the edge of my seat).-The vegan leather is soft, but I don't expect that it would hold up to much. Chair gets a 10/10 for good looks.-Assembly was easy, and none of the parts felt cheap. All the holes were pre-drilled adequately. I'd not be surprised if it arrived damaged in shipping, since they use little more than cardboard to pack the pieces.-The height has a decent range of adjustability, and I think the lowest setting is fine, despite reading complaints that it wouldn't go low enough.

I am completely under the charming design of this chair. Sturdy and comfortable on the condition you do not spend 6 hours non stop at your desk! Personally, I did not use the wheels to not ruin my beautiful wooden floor. I put felt instead. it is not leather material, but a mix of leather and synthetic to make a more resistant cover material. I like the fact that it is not a sticky or stinky material :-). Even the arm rest have their little sleeves that not entirely cover them so you also see the stainless steel which gives a nice visual effect. the seat is not reinforced so for more comfort I would recommend a nice cushion and also a lumbar cushion for a better ergonomic...or another chair if you have serious back or neck problems. You have to think that this chair is nice for its design more than its ergonomic as I am not sure Eames at the time thought it was a preoccupation or at least if it was, it has not been rendered in the concept of this one chair from US office elements; As far as i am concerned i have only positive comments to make about it. Moreover, the color is great for my black and white design office and I love it.

Ergonomics aside, this chair is attractive and easy to assemble. However, the lowest height setting for the chair is slightly too high. If you are a shorter than the average female (<5'4"), the heels of your feet will not reach the floor. The arm rests are also too low (this was tested by multiple people of heights ranging from 5'3" to 5'9"). The chair also claims to be a 'high-back', but the top lands at about shoulder height- don't expect to lay back your head.If you're looking for a stylish chair, this is an excellent option. If you plan on working in this chair all day, choose something else.

It isn't of the highest quality, but for the price and the look I wanted, it does the job.The nice thing was that I was contacted by customer service about my order before it had even arrived, making sure I received it and that I was happy with the product. After putting it together and using it for one day, however, I noticed it leaned to one side. It appeared to be a manufacturing flaw. I informed the customer service rep via email, and after two days of emailing back and forth, describing the issue and sending pictures, I was told that I could return it and order another one if I would like.Given that I had already thrown out the packaging materials, I expected them to send me another chair first so that I didn't have to be without a chair or out of pocket extra money while waiting for a return; plus, I wouldn't have wasted my time emailing back and forth if I knew that would be their solution (the order was fulfilled by Amazon, so I already knew I could return it and order another one). So I ordered a second chair, and used that packaging material to return the first. Not the biggest inconvenience, but given the proactive customer service in the beginning, I was just expecting more with that issue.

These are great looking chairs, and are very nice, while they last. Mine lasted almost 3 years before the support inside the seat cushion broke and the seat cratered. This is the second chair of this type that this has happened with. I weigh 200 lbs and sit in the chair about 4 hours a day. I would recommend buying the buyer protection plan so you can get it replaced when it breaks.

Looks good but impossible to use. Seat is about 3" too high in lowest position, my legs jam under my desk when I try to pull the chair up to it. The upholstery looks good but the seat has all the comfort of a stack of cardboard. Arm covers are zip on jokes that slip and slid and twist and turn.Couldn't test it before I put it together and the box it came in was destroyed in shipping so I'm stuck with this piece of junk. Time to donate it, write it off as a bad mistake and find a chair that I can sit in and not get mad about buying it.

The chair overall is nice. My biggest complaint is it's constant squeaking. I am constantly applying oil and tightening the screw to reduce the squeaking. Not ideal when on a conference call.

Meh. This chair is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be for something that describes itself as "High Back Office Chair." The product itself is fine, but functionality wise, this is at best a 2nd tier conference room chair. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with it being that it's put together. Seller was fine. Product arrived on schedule. Simply wishing I had bought something else, which is my own fault.
