I bought this stool for my laundry room. I use it to reach into the cabinets and reach the bottom of my deep top loading washer. It is perfect. The addition width allows me to have both feet on it comfortably which adds to my stability when reaching up or down into the washer. Once my foot touches the top, it does not slide or move.

very handy and sturdy! I used it for toilet stool and stepping stool as well, multi-functional.

It is exactly what I needed for my kitchen. It holds up my 300lb butt no problem.

Now, I knew this was a cheap solution, so I'll say this: if you're a tiny person/child looking to grab this real quick every now and then to reach something in your pantry or a closet, it'll work just fine. I was looking for something to use as a portable step to get in and out of my trailer. Not everyday use, but I did use it pretty frequently over the course of a couple days while going in and out. My boyfriend, (not an abnormally tall or large guy by any means,) stepped kind of towards one side of it one day and it just shattered into like 6 pieces. That was only about a week or 2 after purchasing it. So, like 165+lb people and frequent users beware: I suggest finding something rated to be stronger. I did not try to contact the company or anything, just ended up replacing with a different brand/style more suited for the job.

A nice stool I purchased because of stated capacity of 300#. At 260 I thought all would be good and it was for 2 months, until it broke. Will be buying another but different brand.***Update on first review. I did not contact the seller of the stool, I suspect Amazon sent them my feedback. They expressed genuine concern over the stool that broke and offered a couple thoughts as the reason for the breakage, never once mentioning I may have been too fat to step in the center of the stool. I was 40# under rated cap, but pushing the limits I suppose. They could not have been nicer and wanted me to have a solution. I elected to try the same stool in standard, not 15" extended length, I'm sure it will be stronger in the center and cause no issues. Kudos to customer service for ACSTEP, job well done. Thank you.

My new kitchen cabinets were installed and they are slightly less higher than the old ones. Cannot reach the top shelf without the assistance of a stool. I have other stools similar to this one but they are not as wide. Felt I needed the wider width for additional security. Working great!
