I love MiiR bottles. They keep beverages hot or cold for hours. I've put water and ice cubes in mine and had the ice remain frozen more than 24 hours later, and coffee and tea stays hot all day. The flip top lid locks securely and prevents spills even if you shake the bottle vigorously, and the subtle non-slip texture on the exterior helps keep the bottle secure in your hand. Finally, the shape and the matte finish give them an elegant look and feel. These are by far my favorite insulated bottles. I do wish they were dishwasher-safe, but you can't have everything.

I am really impressed by how well this MiiR keeps liquids hot for a long time. Very sleek, good-looking design. My only issue is that the lid can be a little awkward to drink from. When opening the flip top, the part that opens, I'll call it the "tab", sticks up and presses against my nose while drinking. I thought it would lay more flat.

The 12-oz insulated mug is not cumbersome and is very effective in keeping coffee hot for a long time. The cover seals well...absolutely no leaking. It is easy to open and to drink from. I would buy again.

Downgrading my review to just 1 star. Miir says they guarantee their products, but they haven’t offered me any replacement for their lousy, leaking lid. I mean, it doesn’t only leak, it also spontaneously pops open, ruining everything in its vicinity.Their website falsely advertises it at leakproof and shows 5 stars out of 5 - meanwhile, other sources says it’s well-known for leaking and popping open. That’s dishonest.Meanwhile, they advertised a new improved “leakproof” lid. I filled out an offer to get free shipping, and then added the new lid to my cart (when it was back in stock), but they didn’t give me free shipping. The shipping alone costs the same amount as the lid! And no store is available for pickup.I went to leave a review, but they won’t let me leave a review. I clicked on their live chat option, but that didn’t work either. Basically, Miir misrepresents their products, misrepresents their offers, and can’t be reached.I thought this was in a virtual tie with Zojirushi for the best mug on the market. Advantages: Big opening makes it easy to fill and to add big ice cubes (I use it for iced coffee), it’s simple to use and clean, and the lid is easy to use.But after several experiences of dumping iced coffee out of my (thankfully waterproof) backpack, I came to realize that it wasn’t me being forgetful, it was this mug spontaneously opening. If you plan to always keep it upright (in your hand, on the counter, in a cup holder), add 1 or 2 stars. If you might have it in a bag or a backpack or need to lie it down (like in an exercise bike beverage slot), you can do better.I even once once brushed it while it stood on the padded floor of a gym, and watched it gently fell over and pop open.

So I love the color that I got. I love that it keeps coffee warm. I love that the flip lid doesn't drop down on your nose. And I love that when you close it. It really does stay closed and does not leak no matter what position you put it in your pocketbook.However, something that frustrates me and I need to try to figure out a good way is when you tighten it tight and you finish your coffee, it's very hard to unscrew the top. I have very strong hands and sometimes I can't even do it. I've reassorted to putting it in the freezer and then running it under hot water to help expand contract to help open it. I've never had a coffee Thermos or water bottle act like this. I understand its purpose but for someone with not a lot of hand strength I wouldn't recommend this
