Great sight and sight picture!
Very pleased with this red dot. Fits perfectly on a Canik Rival 02 adapter plate for the RMR footprint. Sighted in with laser cartridge, had to raise it about 20 clicks, but once at the range, Took 3 sets of 3 shots to have it in the bulls eye at 10 yards, and at 25 yrds. Noticing tighter groups during both dry fire laser practice. and at the range live firing, especially when doing my shifting target routines. The chevron for me really does help for quicker pickup and the 20mm circle is a great addition to help get the chevron where you need it quickly. The only down side for me is it is a bit dim in very low light and if you do use a light, it will wash out the chevron. It would be AWESOME if there was a front facing light pickup so that if/when using a light for low/no light conditions it would auto adjust the chevron brightness.Great product and glad spent the extra!!

Fantastic dot for those new to optics
I've been a loyal Holosun customer for some time - mainly for rifle applications. However, for someone new to dots on the pistol this sight can't be beat. The inclusion of the large circle which is only visible when you're well off target to help you quickly align to being on target is an amazing feature. Then once you've sorted out your draw the chevron is still a solid dot feature for those well practiced. Very happy with this sight and highly recommend for those moving to a dot sight for the first time.

Perfect for those of us getting to the age where keeping iron sights in focus is a challenge.
This is my second ACSS Vulcan from Holosun. The reticle is a green chevron that I find can really help keep your shots on target. Fairly quick target acquisition is aided by a large circle around the reticle so you know which way to compensate to get the reticle in view. Any slowness is not because of the optic, it's because I'm not shooting enough to be a competitive shooter.I've heard mixed reviews from other shooters, but I love the fact that this optic goes dormant in your safe, but if you move the pistol, the holographic sight turns itself on. With some of my other red-dot sights, I have to remember to turn them on, and turning them on is not as quick as flicking off a safety. I like that this one turns itself on so you're quickly ready for business if that becomes necessary. Also the optic has a photocell on top to give the battery longer life.I've had two Glock slides machined for this optic and wish that slide machining was as common an option for some of my 1911s.When your iron sights start blurring out on you, it's time for one of these, they really make a difference.

Works like a champ! Easier to use than my other Holosuns.
The ACSS vulcan chevron on this is superior to a basic red dot in that it allows for quicker acquisition and pinpoint accuracy using the very top of the chevron. I have the HS 507C X2 (not ACSS version) also, it has the basic red dot presentation. I shoot better with the vulcan sight.I also have the HS 507K on a micro pistol. It is a great red dot, but doesn't have the vulcan chevron. The red dot purists seem to not like the chevron I hear, and I understand that as the basic dot may not obscure as much -- but in using the chevron I've found it enhances target acquisition, especially in follow up shots. The large outside circle is also very helpful if you need it, but I generally never see it except when moving to shoot. Then it offers a quick reminder and aid to get chevron on target. If you hold gun at normal arm's length grip, you'll hardly ever see the big circle -- and if you do, it's helpful and not obtrusive. The chevron also gives you basic holdover pictures if you want to shoot at longer distances. For me, after shooting basic red dots for a couple years, this vulcan reticle is superior. Doubt I'll go back to basic red dot, but never say never..........ha.

Purchase recommended, but also be sure to invest in protecting your sight.
The product itself is fantastic. 100% would recommend. Just be sure that it fits your slide. Just remember to do your research before purchasing. I got the chevron sight picture and it's great for quick target acquisition. Price point is higher—in my opinion, you're buying the brand. Battery life is pretty great, haven't had any problems so far. Pretty durable, but I would still invest in a shield or cover.

Good optic.
Have a ton of holosun at this point, for good reason. I've been waiting to get the acss reticle version for a while. It's currently living on my g17.5.

My favorite carry optic
I have this mounted to a CZ Shadow 2 compact. I love the "correction" ring. I have carried red dots on pistols for years. With practice, you develop the right muscle memory and presentation becomes automatic. I have always had a concern of a bad presentation under stress. The ACSS reticle makes it easy to identify and correct a bad punch. During drills, I rarely see the outer ring. When I do, I know a mistake was made and in what direction. When in competition, I can correct in real-time and get back to dinging.
