Xylitol USA - Xyla All Natural Sugar Free Sweetener - 1 Lb. ( 2 Pack )

I love Xylitol. As someone with weight issues who wants to limit the amount of sugar in my diet, but who dislikes (for flavor reasons) and distrusts (for health reasons) the artificial sweeteners out there, xylitol is like a miracle. It's a natural sweetener (at least, if you buy the kind obtained from birch, rather than the synthetic Chinese kind), like erythritol and stevia, but without the unpleasant aftertaste. And it really tastes like sugar, unlike all the other sweeteners, artificial and natural. Xyla is made from North American birch, so it's the natural kind. The one downside is that because the crystals are quite large, it doesn't dissolve well in cold drinks, though it eventually will if you are patient enough. But for hot tea or coffee, it is perfect! (I can't speak to baking, as I have never used it for baking.) And now Xyla makes a version you can get in handy one teaspoon packets that you can carry around!

This xylitol is of high quality, comes in small crystals sorr of like sugar in the raw in the little packets, that take a while to melt in your mouth. I eat it throughout the day after meals and snacks with zero bad side effects! I bought a 2 lb bag of corn xylitol from a store and had extreme gut irritation and confusing form just a 1/5 of a tespoon.

Great product that is not from China, but instead from North American hardwoods. It really helps with my oral care by letting some dissolve in your mouth, swishing it around for a while, and then spitting it out. I now use this instead of mouthwash, and use an all natural toothpaste without flouride. My teeth are much less sensitive now and it is supposed to help prevent cavities as well.
