King Hoff Stainless Steel Whistling Kettle 2 L (White KH - 1050)

I absolutely love it, the black with white spots looks really classy. it has a nice loud whistle, big enough for me but not too heavy, I would certainly recommend it. it arrived fairly quickly, My only a small gripe was that it wasn't wrapped it arrived in its original box which was taped up with my name and address on it, if you were giving it as a present it wouldn't look very nice

I was suprised at how small it is i assumed it would be the size of a standard kettle it is tiny, it looks a bit ridiculous sitting on my hob!! It is good quality though and delivery was fast.

Lovely kettle thought I would buy this white dotty stove kettle as a spare if ever my electric went off then I can use this on my gas hob, but couldn’t wait to try it out so ended up using it now, good whistle too when it boils, and quick delivery,

Discolored after a weeks use , thrown away after 2 weeks

Took me a while to select this and its turned out well. I wanted something safe&easy for maybe 8-10 uses, of one/two teacups, a day on a gas burner.SAFE: unlike almost all others there is NO metal anywhere on the handle (big) in contact with the heated parts. The handle material (tough) never gets hot. Similarly, EASY: it fills thro the spout and the well fitting spoutwhistle (loud) is open/closed with a nice big insulated lever integrated in the insulated handle. I find I only use the lid to check for scale buildup every few months (minimal so far). To my mind that is all Good Design.OK... however, this was £12.99inc ... so what are the weak points?Mine lives on a gas cooker and the bottom has acquired some small marks from being banged down on the cooker bars. Some of these marks have a touch of (surface only) rust. The dinky 'Black with Polka Dots' look is no more. On one side a patch of black rubbed away after a few months to reveal shiny metal and the embossed words 'King Hoff' . The two little silvery dots on the handle are pivots. Mr Hoff used smooth solid metal tubes. These try gradually to work their way out and need to be occasionally pushed back flush with a finger nail. I got fed up with one and replaced it with a screw thread version (aka a bolt) and its not moved since. Other than that, its Brill (for a kettle)!
