Q: Does sheer cover still have the shade light or is the tan the closest thing to the light?

If you normally use the Light shade Tan would be WAY too dark for your skin. Sheer Cover's shades, from lightest to darkest, are: Light, Medium, Tan & Dark, so you should use the Medium shade, but it's been out of stock for awhile. The starter face kits are in stock in Light & Medium. You get a mini 1.5 grams foundation, the Conceal & Brighten Highlight Trio, and 2 brushes- 1 full face, 1 concealer. It's a good deal for $22.

Q: Is tan the same as medium?

No. Tan is darker. I’m between tan & medium. I mix the two together for my preferred shade. Until my natural tan comes in during the summer. I use the bronzer as blush.
