Was told to purchase this fitting by Amazon staff to get kebab machine working... waste of money, it does not fit kebab machine.

The 3/8 male to male adapter will NOT connect to a gas line. You will need to purchase a 3/8 FL X 3/8 MIP. Exactly what I was looking for to quick connect on both ends!I have a quick connect on my 5th Wheel and I wanted a quick connect on my Camp Chef to make everything easily plug and play.

I had to go to True Value to purchase a male to male adapter to fit my 3/8 gas line coming from RV( common size). The female coupling that attaches to the grill was correct. But the male to male adapter had the incorrect thread width and would not screw into my gas line, even though the gas line by itself screwed directly to the grill just fine. The part I had to buy was only $2.00 so i don't have too much heart burn over this purchase.

I was looking for a gas fitting for my barbecue since when I sold my home the new owner insisted that I leave my old one behind since it was attached to the plumbing of the home. This fitting works well for a lot of different gas appliances, but it does NOT work for a Natural Gas Weber grill. It takes a larger gas fitting and you will need to order it from Weber.
