Fabulous product and my dogs think it’s a treat! I have a very high strung mixed cattle dog, who has a tough time calming down when it’s time to go to bed. These treats, like melatonin for humans, helps her to calm down and sleep easily.I have not observed any side effects, and she loves the way they taste.She is 35 lbs, and due to her “always on” personality, she needs 3-4 a day. Wish they came in a stronger mix.If I was having to give them to one of my large dogs (78 to 130 lbs), I don’t think I could afford them.

It worked really well for my GSD. I bought it to help calm her during her second heat cycle. She had been licking excessively, not sleeping or eating, and was howling and barking. FOUND THE SOLUTION! 🐾💕 I'm blown away by these treats - they calm both my Blue Heelers AND Pitbulls (I thought it was impossible!). I have 7 fur babies (4 boys, 3 girls), and I researched the perfect dosage for each. I gave them these treats 6 hours before a gathering, and they were STILL calm and silent - it was amazing! 😮 The treats have a strong smell, but all my dogs devoured them... except one, that is. I had to mash them up in his food, but once he ate them, he was calm within 30 minutes. These treats are a game-changer! Highly recommend! 🐾👍

This product works great for our lunatic frenchie who is absolutely terrified of having his nails trimmed! So much so he previously ripped an entire nail out from fighting to get away and his nail got stuck in his muzzle and pulled out completely. That gave him and me PTSD and I knew we had to find an actual solution.What we do now takes both me and my husband.We start by giving him 1 of these hemp treats 45- 60 minutes before we’re ready to trim his nails. We notice he starts to mellow in about 20 minutes but he’s not ready to not fight us until the full 45- 60 minutes later lol. We put him in a dog carrier, put his socks on him to avoid nails getting caught on anything (in reference to muzzle ordeal above),and put a cone on his head to minimize head movement. My husband distracts him with giving him peanut butter and I get to clipping and filing. We’re done in 10 minutes! He will still struggle a little but then quickly gives up. When he’s done, he’s ready to nap it off and sleeps a solid hour unbothered lol.Prior to these hemp calming treats he was absolutely nuts and his nails were long and he refused to let us even touch them. Update: 2024 12 20 - The seller has reached out to me due to my original review, and I will give them FIVE STARS for that and support of their product. Coming from the violent background that my little girl did, I will say that maybe she is just too afraid of everything yet for any product such as this to really work. OR MAYBE I just didn't give her "enough" at one time to help. I'm really cautious on "meds" for any pet I have, and she could very well be that one exception to any rule. I have only had her since April of this year, and it took her a few months to realize TOYS were to play with and chew on if she wanted to; and the noises and commotion in the apartment building I live in (not the best environment) gives her reason to be on guard all the time. I appreciate the seller taking the time to reach out and resolve the issue in the best way possible. THANK YOU NATURVET for "takin' care of business".I got these for my newly adopted baby girl. She came from Texas and was in a violent, backyard, hoarding, breeding situation. When I got her, she was just about to turn two. Everything in her new environment was scary for her. THESE DID NOT HELP CALM her down even a little that I could see. Now, it's been a few months and she is starting to realize that people around us will not hurt her or kick her and she's starting to trust people for the first time. She does not leave my side, but trying to help calm her even for a walk ... well, these just didn't help her out.

Most calming chews haven't worked very well. My senior golden retriever girl has storm and thunder phobia that has gotten worse with age. Living in Florida we get daily thunderstorms in the Summer which are really hard on her. She hyperventilates, runs around, paws you, pees, shakes uncontrollably and even gets hind weakness if it's really bad. It's awful.This year I decided to try these as nervous system support for the season. I've been giving them around 30 mins before a storm when I can catch it in time. Real time the chews definitely help take her panic from an 8 to a 3.5. If it's a bad storm, she's still stressed but only mildly vs full panic mode with poor recovery. Which is a major win for her!The most unexpected but positive effect has been improved resilience, which is really the unexpected best case scenario. By this I mean that she can now hear very bad thunder off 8 miles in the distance and instead of throttling into panic she lifts her head, looks around and goes back to sleep. (A miracle.) And she's now laying down post-storm even while it's still rumbling (miracle) but has moved off from over us, and within a few minutes she's considering a nap versus having a hard time relaxing post-stress. Her reactions are just more proportional.Her hair trigger is far reduced which is really the best outcome for her since the storms happen so so often.AND we don't even give her the full suggested dose. She's 100 pounds and 2-3 chews make a serious difference.
