Replacement water filters for Mr. Coffee machines available in the grocery store are the entire plastic unit not just the disc. The discs easily slip into place in the unit and are priced close to the same as buying 2 unit replacements.The water filter discs are the same quality as are in the original plastic unit. Plastic unit is reused and not being added to the environment.
