I love itThe Stand works for me, sturdy enough, the neck is very flexible. The magnifier lens are big enough, and good vision for me, will help me to read and with my jewelry, I bought it used, 😀 and I am amazed all works the cover of the lens is broke, but still I can just put it on as is, I highly recommend it.

As I get older, my eyesight has diminished a little bit, and with the bright LEDs in this thing, it makes it much easier to see small details on IC's and I can actually read the color bands on resistors again. On top of that, you can flip up the protective cover and there's a nice, big, clear magnifying lens that makes it even easier. My only complaint is that I have to bend the gooseneck down to put the light closer to the desktop, and it becomes a little off balance and tips over if I'm not careful.

My old fluorescent magnifying glass lamp kicked the bucket and I could not find a new one. Happy that it did as this lamp is superior. Brighter and bigger with better range of motion.The little more powerful section is helpful but I wish it was bigger. I find I need the extra magnifying at least 90% of the time and aligning up with the small section is difficult. So far I haven’t found a lamp with the full lens with the more powerful strength. My eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I am sure I am not alone.Determining what the power is for all magnifying glasses is difficult in the descriptions as they are not standardized. Some use 2.0 and some 50%, some 200%. To compare is unfortunately a guess. I would say the larger section of the glass makes things like your hand slightly larger, maybe 25% thus not twice as large as your hand. The smaller section looking at a finger seems to be twice as large as the finger. Essential for those times you have a thorn. But it’s a struggle to align the finger for maintenance of your nails using the higher magnification section.The bending arm of the lamp is sturdy and holds its position when adjusted. The arm is wrapped with a silicone like skin. It isn’t a cheap flimsy plastic like my old lamp. The adjustable light seems a bit of a gimmick though. It is almost an on or off light with a slight range of dimmability. I removed the lens cover as it always would flop closed when using the lamp. It’s not difficult to remove and replace the cover.I’d buy it again. I’d jump at the same lamp with a higher magnification power.

Really a nice lamp. The magnifying glass is great on me old eyes. 10x is perfect. There is a small 20 there I suppose if I had something really small to see. Like it.

Sure helps with needing extra light for craft projects and the ability to magnify without distortion. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought the 10x 20x magnifying lens desk lamp in July 2021. I immediately realized it had serious flaws and I could not use it as intended, and I set it aside. Now in Aug 2022 I pulled it back out to examine it and see if I was perhaps wrong. I was not wrong. The product has some serious flaws. First, the dust cover over the magnifier doesn’t “catch” in its open position, so if the magnifier is titled at all downwards, the cover flops over it into the shut or covered position. Second, the magnification is a joke. The large 4.5" translucent acrylic circle does not magnify at all. Within the 4.5 circle the is a 1" circle that magnifies a little, but the item you are looking at has to be within about one inch of the acrylic magnifier. This means, for example, that you wouldn’t be able to use tweezers to remove a sliver while viewing your action through that 1" circle. Worst of all for my intended use, the base is not adequately weighted, so most of range of positions I would like to use with the gooseneck cause the lamp to tip over. I paid $39.95 on 7/26/21 to order this useless product which today 8/1/22 sells for $28.99--I should have returned this to Amazon upon receipt. It can be used as a task light if you can keep the top part above the base so that the product doesn’t tip.

The lens is okay, certainly not 100% optically correct as shown in the photo but acceptable for my purposes. The lid being broken was a disappointment, but again, for my purposes it will be fine without.

This arrived, it looked a little used around the base, but nothing was broken so I didn't worry about it. It works well, but I've noticed the light flickers, which is super annoying thus the 3 stars. There were complaints about the cover being crapy, who cares if it comes off, so take it off in use, put it back on when not in use. Really it's no big deal.
