These are sturdy pieces of wood and the rounded edges are nice. However, they are not all flat. Some are warped, even. I'm making coasters and you can't have a wine glass on top of something that rocks.So I put them under pressure with 4-6 clamps for a few days and recovered all but about 2-4 per 24 pack. I'll be using the uneven ones for my daughter's craft projects. Maybe if I steamed the wood before or used a press of sorts, they could be better fixed, but that's not what this project is about!I understand the varying qualities of wood. but the way they are assembled leaves different colors on each side of the coaster. Some coasters have 1/4" wide lines of a much darker grain going across them. There's a good chance this is not much of an issue for your purposes, but for mine I had to find 4 panels that "matched" enough to make them into a set of 4.Purchased another brand and they are all level and uniform in grain and color, and cheaper. I am pleased with the results but don't have the time to deal with 25% of inconsistent product.

I purchased these because I am an artist and thought they would make great ornaments - I was correct!! In fact, I need to order more. It would be great if you had some 3.5 x 3.5 or 4 x 4 in a circle too. That size makes a great ornament but hard to find and especially in bulk. I am attaching a photo of one ornament so you can see the end result. Thanks so much and much success in your business! (For anyone purchasing, even drilling a hole for a ribbon was easy and the wood did not splinter. I highly recommend.)

I've purchased this exact product in the past with no problems. My most recent order was very poor quality. All of the corners are crooked and offset. Also, each piece got more and more jagged as I went through the bag - like they were cut with a very old blade. I hate that I can't rely on this brand anymore. It used to be my go to product.
