Ryuuko Matoi carries a large weapon shaped like half of a pair of scissors. She's looking for the woman with the other half, who killed her father. Satsuki Kiryuuin, student council president of Honnouji Academy, is said to know the woman's identity, so Ryuuko transfers there. Those who arrive at the school receive a special "goku uniform", and Satsuki has used that power to rule the school in fear.

Five stars for KLK, three stars for Malaysian imprint.
Review of Kill la Kill anime itself: One of my favorite anime series all time. Absolutely watch the series.Review of Malaysian imprint of the series. I don't know if it's a bootleg, but 20USD for 24 episodes is a good price. (skipping about, I think it's recorded off the broadcast, as there are references to DVD, audio drama CDs and Bluray discs coming out later in the year, so...I guess it's definitely the TV series)It's 24 episodes on 2 DVDs, which is nice. DVD plays on a US drive, which is nice. JP audio, which is nice (though only JP); subtitles in ENG, Malay and CHN, which is nice.Video quality is kind of bad. Audio quality is fine. Text descriptions on the back of the box are pretty bad, even for "Engrish" (and whatever comparable bowdlerized chinese and malay are called). Subtitles in English are good. I didn't do full comparison between disc and something like Crunchyroll's but they read well with text screwups only on text characters with diacritics.Episode navigation is absolute crap. It will flow from one episode to the next on its own, but if you hit "next" or "back", you get kicked straight to the main menu. (You can select to start at specific episodes so... there is that.)I'm not unhappy with the product, especially considering how hard it was to get the original discs when released (to say nothing of now).Buy this because you want to watch the series, not because you want high quality archival stuff. Also, it doesn't have the 25th episode. I know the title says 1-24... I just want that to be explicitly clear.

An unsung hero in anime
Insane, far-reaching, funny, and so much action! This is my favorite anime of all time along with death note, so I'm glad I could get them on dvd for a good price. I wouldn't recommend getting the manga series that came out after the anime. Details of the story are changed around a bit, its hard to have a manga on kill la kill since the fighting scenes are huge and fast-paced, and I also do not like how lady Satsuki is drawn in them.

Far better than most production runs !!!
Some say these Malayian DVD's are "bad news",BUT anything is better than the price gouging of the "other maker". These are a very good set of dvd's for $25 bucks, and a lot better than $40.00 for 4 episodes.Best to use a good DVD and Blu-ray player program like the one I've been using for the last 3 months- Powerpoint 17 !!!!

It's complete but quantity isn't the best
Not the greatest quality but still the only complete series. So I'm satisfied and happy!

road trip and wreck-reation, plus a family reunion
Ryuuko pulls herself together to rejoin the fight and clash with the president again, but she learns far more about herself, her family, and (dare I say ... yes, I will) the fate of the world that she ever thought possible!More battles, more family secrets, more screwball humor

Great Buy
It was exactly what I was looking for. Its all sub but thats no problem and it works on U.S. DVD players and PS4. It came in good shape and all the disc work.
