Not long enough for a shotgun
This was a very high quality case. Good for an AR-15 or short Rifle. None of my shotguns or long guns would fit inside. I thought it was a scabbard case where the butt of the shotgun would stick out and yet be secured. But it is not.

Nice case for metal detectors
I was looking for a case for my metal detector, so I didn't have to break it down every time I used it. Also, I needed something that I could carry on my back, since I would be hiking it 2-5 miles. The pros is this case has enough room to fit my Nox 800 with an 11 inch coil, without breaking it down. But the control panel does stick out of the side a bit. I was able to get my hands on a prototype folding control panel, and with that, everything fits easily in the case. This case also has three external pockets. Middle pocket is big enough to store your Minelabs headphones in the case easily. The other two external pockets are slightly smaller. But still big enough to hold snacks, battery packs, in the case of what's it was designed for, ammo cartridges.Behind the three external pocket is one very big zippered compartment. This one is big enough to fit all your other needs. It's large enough to put quite a bit in it. I usually use this to store all my food and drink items for my trip. The main compartment is well padded all the way around. It's like a quarter inch padded foam, with a padded foam divider. Both sides have two straps that you can secure your item in. The detector length I have with the coil folded up is about 53 inches, and it fits in the bag snugly. Might be able to get a 55 inch long item in there vertically easily.Outside the case, there is molle straps that I use to strap my first aid kit on. Behind the molle straps there are also zippered pockets. They don't have much room in the pockets, but they are enough to store my car keys, wallet, and whatever else I have rattling in my pockets. The Backpack option on this case is a very nice one, but also not a practical one for my uses. If you are going to use this case say to bring your guns from your car to the gun range. Then this case would fit your needs well. You can carry this case either by hand, or as a backpack. For my purpose, I was hiking with this as a backpack some 2-5 miles inland. What I found is that with the length of the backpack, the case was hitting the back of my legs as I hiked near the back of my knees. After a few miles, that does get a bit annoying, and worse, it caused me to shorten my stride just a bit. The other issue is that due to the length of the case, the load was very uneven on my back, especially because you have so many inches sticking up high and low. It's not compact and focused on your back, like a normal pack. For a short trip, this won't be an issue. But for a multi mile hike, this will really tire you out. Even if the load is light.Overall, it's a great case for transporting and for short distance walking. But for long distance trekking, it will do it's job. But it won't be as easy as carrying a normal pack.

Bulky but it'll do
This bag is super bigger than what I bought if for. it certainly has millions of pockets everywhere and is somewhat bulky to transport. however, it will do.

Can't lose on this one!
I have 3 of these, but different sizesMy oldest one is 4 years old. I go to the range alot and go hunting alot and this is my go to bag. I have nothing bad to say about it. Durable, plenty of pockets and storage, well made, and I have never had an issue with any of the zippers. I'm 71 years old and have used many different gun cases and without a doubt this is the best bang for the buck gun case/bag I have found.

Great for 2 rifles and multiple handguns!
As MANY others here have said, this is a good carry bag! I used it a few days after getting it very quickly to go to the oval indoor range. I loaded up with an AR-15, a MechTech CCU on XD frame, 2 1911’s, a Glock, S&W and a 9mm... all 5 being pistols. Plus I added no less than 2 30rd and 4 40 rd AR mags, 6 .45 mags, 3 mags for each other semi auto, all loaded mags. And it ALL fits nicely!! LoL!It was heavy, almost, too heavy to carry by hand but this bag comes with tons of storage and straps to wear as a backpack. I had additional ammo that I could have EASILY stored in this bag but I didn’t wanna pack it in the bag and have to show range officer each box for inspection, so I just carried my ensemble like a duffel bag with the handles. The range/store had one of their single rifle bags on sale with some rifle mags included for that same Roxie as this. But, it had their name on it and I don’t need anymore mags. Besides, this slowed me to carry an M4 style AR with scope along with my new little “carbine” in the same bag securely. Now I will say that I thought I had my carbine laser pointer on top zeroed in before this. As well as the scope on the AR, but I’m thinking maybe they were misaligned carrying them together on the way to the range because both were off target? I could actually move the laser in the carbine so maybe it’s my fault? That’s why for now, I won’t deduct a star for the bag! This has no faults right now! But I can update as needed and I do recommend this carry bag for those that want to go to the range with 2 rifle and a small arsenal of different calibers handguns!

Buy it you won't be disappointed.
Twice as much storage than most other soft rifle cases. Count them, 10 pouches in total. 3 on the front, the 2 zipper at each end, the large zipper pouch behind the front 3, which has 2 pistol with velcro and 2 zippered pouches inside it. Very well insulated inside and around the outer parameter with thick padding and the attached divider between the rifle compartments is 1/2" thick. Heavy duty well padded back straps. Quality double stitching, heavy easy flow zippers with corded pulls attached, heavy duty velcro straps and pocket closures. 6 medium weight steel D rings. The only fault (nitpicking) I can find is the velcro handle needs to be padded which is an easy fix with self adhesive neoprene padding. It has more storage and much better construction than most other soft double rifle cases. Buy it you won't be disappointed.

For very long guns
Nice case handy pockets, built solid. more straps inside would be nice. Measure your gun, this is for the longest guns. I changed my review because I have used it alot and it is pretty good quality. Zippers are holding up, everything is holding up. More straps would be nice but I am working on that...

my go to bag
Best gun bag I've ever had. Holds two carbines and two pistols ear pro eye pro mags limited ammo and a small amount of cleaning supplies. Solid construction backpack ability is comfortable. This is the gun bag you should own for 3 gun comps. Make sure you measure your guns though most guns including carbines with fixed butt stalks probably won't fit in hereGuns I've put in itS&w m&p 15Cz 858Issc mk22All telescopic butts collapsed
