Another review mentioned loose screws at arrival and I did have that same issue. There were 5 screws that had come loose during shipment and were rattling around in the unit and one in the box itself. I had to figure out where the screws came from and put them back. A couple came from the motor mount and a couple from the electrical box and one from another area. Thankfully despite the missing screws, nothing was banging around dangerously inside the unit to cause damage. It was really just an annoyance to deal with.Now having said all that, once I unboxed the range hood, reattached the screws (and made sure every other screw on the unit was tight) and plugged in the unit to test, I was pretty amazed at the power of the fan. It moved some serious air! And it's impressively quiet for how much air it moves. The suction is powerful. I like the simple push button design. I didn't want any fancy phone connectivity or gimmicky hand waving garbage on my hood fan. This range hood seems very well built and good quality. Only time will tell of its longevity. I'll be delivering this to my cabinet builder to have it fitted for a custom built range hood. After all of my research, this was the best option I found and I'm happy it so far. I'll update this review once it's installed in the home we're building and actually being used over our stove top. I took the time to write this review because the process of finding a good range hood at a reasonable price was not easy for me, so I hope this help anyone else looking for a range hood.

I bought 2 of these for a home I'm building, I'm a home builder so I have installed many hood inserts. The description says they come with baffle filters. Well they came with baffles that are hollow but no filters. Which means that after a few months there will be grease dripping down on the cooking surface because there is nothing to catch it. They sent a stainless tray that has no real instructions and is not straight forward at all, as to installing it for these baffles. It was packaged loose and was banging around inside the unit during shipping. There was also broken screw head pieces in both units I received. When I called Amazon customer service I get foreigners through a bad connection that don't understand what I'm saying. I asked to be transferred to someone in the USA and they said that was not possible??!! The unit itself is a good price, however the install is extremely difficult - it took 3 of us to install one of these, and I am a professional. Overall review, good price, horrible directions, bad baffle design, and bad placement of install holes ( you have to remove the light bar to access front install holes while it swings around during the process, there is not way to disconnect wiring harness. Zephyr would be a better way to go, IMO.

This hood seems to be ok in terms of looks and performance. However, we received the hood in a box that had a small amount of damage. I opened it up to find that the motor was dislodged from the frame and several screws were flying around inside. It took about an hour to find where they all went and reattach them . The chimney flange was caved in on one side and will have to be straightened. No real visible side damage to the box could be seen so I’m led to believe it was probably bent when placed in the box. You get what u pay 4. I’ve decided to keep the hood but would not recommend anyone else buying from this company until they tighten up their assembly and packing departments.

Well worrh the price. Fan is quiet light is bright. It is a simple model with simple controls at a good price. Dimensions were a little off I should have measured it more carefully but its in and I like it.
