Bought these ballasts to replace an OPT-7 ballast that failed after the first day of installation. With Amazon Prime, they arrived in 2 days and installation was very simple, just plug and play. These are DC ballasts, and are thinner than the metal box ballasts. They have worked perfectly so far. And now the other OPT-7 ballast has failed, so I installed the other DEW ballast, and it seems to be working well. Just installed and working beautifully.I was having problems receiving faulty replacement ballasts from OLM so I got over it after the 3rd one and realized I can just buy different brand ballasts. So I looked on amazon for a ballasts with the same voltage and wattage. I found these and am happy they work and aren't loud(have high pitch noise). Only thing that would make it better is if it came with double sided 3M tape instead of mounting hardware but that's just me.

Good pair of ballasts. Works well with my light bulbs. The reason I gave it 4 stars cause it did not come with any instructions., and 1 hole on the bracket is not aligned with the hole on the ballast.

Got these to replace a Kensun ballast that went bad after 3 years. Not the ballast's fault, it where I had it mounted. I'm surprised it lasted that long. Kensun make great products. Anyway, mounted this thing in a different safer place. Wiring is straight forward, its a direct replacement... YEAH RIGHT! It lasted a week then just died. Swapped it out with the other one (that's the main reason I bought these, there's 2) and it lasted about 2.5 weeks. Ordered some more Kensun and they've been working great since. Should note that these were for my fog lamps. Have a 2008 Tacoma double cad and both my head lamps and fog lamps have Kensun HID conversions. What the hell was I thinking buying these.

Worked great initially, though I don't feel that the 35 Watts are bright enough (used with kensun 4300k and 8000k), I will have to try the 55 watt next.One ballast ended up failing 11 months after install and I don't see a number to contact, so I am hoping DEW will read this review. In the mean time I'll just upgrade to the 55 watt.

I have bought 1 set before, and they worked ok. Bought another set, and they arrived used (heavily scratched). Also, my 4300k bulbs were bright and looked 4300k (yellowish white) on a pair of traditional full sized ballasts. On these ballasts, they are much dimmer, and much bluer (indicating lower voltage). 5 stars for the working previous pair, and 1 for the new sub par pair, average out to 3 stars.

Very compact for a tight and clean installation. They work very well. I have installed them on my 2006 Audi A4 Avant. I would recommend them.

When I order this I was skeptical, but let me tell you I have a 09 cbr600rr n my old ballast was literally dying my light kept going off and on, I got some new HiD light and then got these ballast and they fit perfectly on top of being 3 times slimmer than the old one I had they got my HiD back and brighter than ever see for yourselves
