Perfect. Using on a EOS R at 35MM and it serves my purposes well. Finding a good teleprompter software was a task, but once found, no issues.

I have returned this item as I ordered by mistake however it was of good quality and is just like the seller says. It came package very well and fast. So if your are looking I would go with this one.

I love this little teleprompter. We have a full greenscreen studio with a teleprompter at the office, since Covid, I've been recording training sessions from home. The intial poor quality was a stark change from what we had been doing. So I started putting together a home version.This teleprompter fit the bill very nicely. I use an old iphone for the teleprompter and my current phone as the video. I also attached a shotgun mic to the cold shoe attachment point on top.It's worked out great.Pros:- It works!- small footprint - when I'm not using it, it takes up very little space.- Cold Shoe attachment point- remote control (bluetooth) stops/starts the teleprompter just fine.Cons:- Its a little finicky to set up. But every one I've used has that problem.- weak camera/phone attachment for recording. (I really wish they had used the same setup as for the teleprompter phone.)- It could really use a bit of standoff between the main unit and the tripod. I ended up buying one. Without it, you can't really use an attachment plate on a tripod as it blocks the release levers. (it didn't work with any of my tripods.)- The remote control ONLY starts/stops the teleprompter. It would be nice if you could rewind or restart.- The remote makes an audible click regardless of which kind of mic I use. Its subtle, so not a deal breaker, but I do notice it while editing.- Teleprompter software is REALLY basic. You can't really import an existing file. You can cut and paste plain text. But editing within the software is tough. when at the bottom of my script, I can't see the text as the onscreen keyboard covers it up. The workaround is to add a bunch of carriage returns at the end of the script to keep text above the keyboard. Not a show stopper, but it was a pain.

Very satisfied with the teleprompter and it works as expected.

Pros: Very sturdyCons:Instructions are virtually useless.The remote really doesn’t work. There is mention of an app to use with the teleprompter but the QR code takes you to a messaging app instead of a teleprompter app.I went ahead and purchased “Teleprompter” from the Apple App Store and essentially have little to no need for this product. Only keeping it to have the option of using my DSLR camera. Since I have an iPhone 12 Pro, the front facing camera is just as good as my DSLR.

Returning this. First, it was not sealed up and looked like it was a return as all of the pieces, except for the remote was packaged very loosely. The remote was the only thing sealed up. Plus, a plastic piece was cracked. That's not the seller's fault I realize, that is on Amazon fulfillment. I'm giving it only 1 star because it doesn't work with my Sony ZV-E10. The instructions are garbage and don't tell you exactly how to connect it to your camera, it just has 8 metal rings of different sizes to fit around different MM lenses and none of them fit around my lens so I could not get it attached at all. There were also 4 felt pieces and I have no idea what those are even for because the instructions didn't say what they were or how to use them. Disappointing as I needed to use this today.

The instructions were missing so I had difficulty understanding how to use it & the quality isn’t that great. Would love the opportunity to return.

I read other reviews that this was difficult to setup but, it was actually was easy and straight forward. I highly recommend if you’re on a budget.
