Best wax for me stache.
I just bought a can of Sudden Death yesterday and I can tell it’s my new favorite mustache wax. It smells like a hike through the redwood forest, With strong notes of pine sap and subtle hint of beeswax. Some of the other mustache waxes have artificial fragrances, which give me a headache. This stuff smells amazing, and makes you want to reapply multiple times throughout the day if only just for the pleasure of whiffing, my evergreen scented mustache.Another big plus with this wax is that it does not get clumpy, it’s also a lot easier to use than Death Grip. I’m sure if I had a bigger mustache I would need death grip, but I’m not there yet. This is a great mustache wax for mustache that’s half inch to an inch long.I won’t be buying any other waxes. This is my new standard. Sudden Death takes the cake.

Extra strong hold!
This hold is no joke. It feels a little tacky so I only use it when going out but it holds up great even in my hot climate. You need to warm it up with a hair dryer and then use the included pick to put some on your mustache. Afterwards use the hair dryer on your mustache and melt the wax a little more as you comb it through. Once you have your preferred style just hit it with the cold air from the hair dryer and it sets in a few seconds. Great product and their wax remover works great too!

High quality stache wax
Finally ran out of my 3 cans of Death Grip, by Vintage Grooming. A wax I am thoroughly impressed by and use every day.I was invited to purchase Bone Crusher on an early batch but still had a mountain of Death Grip and did not need another tin in my supplies. That said; I would have bought 2 had I known just how great the latest offering from Vintage Grooming is.I ordered a can, and was rather excited.I absolutely love the packaging and branding from Vintage Grooming. I own a tee shirt and their stickers decorate my work shop. And I find uses for the tins. And the guitar picks are a little extra detail that really make their wax stand out.So I couldn't wait to see the latest art featured on the Bone Crusher.I was not disappointed. The art is phenomenal and unique. But Art doesn't make the wax.The price is right in line with their other waxes. It won't break the bank and your money will go far. And it's money well spent.Opening my Bone Crusher; very easy.I've had trouble with Death Grip. Once the wax gets on the threads, there are times I need channel locks to break that sucker open. I have yet to see if BC gooks up the threads in a similar fashion. But so far, it has not been an issue. To solve the DG unthreading problem, I simply do not engage the lid fully. I don't have to apply it more than once a day, and therefore have no need to carry it with me. And no need to seal it.This is a first world problem and does not take away from DG which I rate 5 stars.Bone Crusher is not as sticky. It is a tough wax. Rock hard in the can. A hairdryer is absolutely required.Thankfully, the residue doesn't cling to the hairdryer or the plug.I've had Death Grip on just about every item in my house at one point or another. Not so much with Bone Crusher. It has a manly smell. Not flowery or perfumed. That's not to say it smells bad.It is a pleasant scent and appropriate for a mans stache. It smells fresh and clean. Just not overpowering.Heating it up with a hairdryer on high heat. It takes much longer than DG. Stays liquid for a very brief time and is dry by the time it gets to the stache. Therefore more heat is needed. It goes in wonderfully smooth. It doesn't clump or clot. My stache doesn't separate into multiple strands. And therefore the wax just coats everything evenly and requires very little. And that little will go a long way. A few dips in the liquid wax on each side. A few strokes. Some pinches and smoothing. A few tweaks to shape it.In spite of a longer heat time. It takes less time to shape and form and get a good even coat than with DG.My stache looks natural and full. It doesn't look like I've got any product in. And it remains in shape, all day.I have a large mustache and I'm not using much BC at all.Shaping my stache into a proper and finely sculpted Handlebar is a breeze and less messy.I work in a forge with hot sparks and high temperatures. Welding and grinding and a lot of fumes and smoke. The BC holds up 100%It was the same shape when I left the house and the same shape after 10 hours of work.In fact, it only relaxes after I soap up and leave it in for most of my shower. And to my satisfaction, my mustache seems to be healthier since I started using BC.I'll still buy DG. But my new primary wax is definitely Bone Crusher. If you need a solid, extra strong hold wax, then Id definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Feels great, good hold most of the time
Been using the product consistently for about 2 weeks now. Styling the mustache with wax is a bit of a new thing for me. I’ve tried it a few times in the past with other products, but never really used those products more than sporadically since they felt so heavy. I don’t feel as much of that same “heaviness” with the Bare Bones wax. I am still getting accustomed to how much wax to use as well as properly applying it, but so far it’s going well. My plan was more to style and hold the longer hairs out of my mouth, but now I feel like I really want to perfect that handlebar look.I will say it works well, but some days it feels like I need to use more wax to keep the hold. Those are usually the days when the styling breaks down easier. But when I get the amount of wax right, it really holds all day, even during a sweaty gym workout. One thing I don’t like is how it can form small clumps when trying to apply, but a little bit of heat from a blow dryer helps before applying. And it is a bit difficult to get some stray hairs to style, but that might resolve as I get more accustomed to styling, as well as strategic future trims. Ultimately, I may go ahead and get the stronger hold at some point, and maybe use the Bare Bones for more relaxed situations.

The most top of the line.
This is a phenomenal product. The only thing I would highly recommend is making sure you have a blow dryer on hand. If you have long, thick, coarse hair like I do, you definitely are choosing the right item. Especially if you struggle to tame your mustache hairs. The wax itself is not very pliable until it gets heated up. You definitely can use your fingers though. The comb is high quality and is small enough to carry in your pocket or even fit into a toiletry bag. Speaking of which, I actually loved this product so much I decided to purchase their toiletry bag which I would also give a five-star rating. Definitely the most top of the line facial hair grooming company there is.

Powerful stuff!
This is powerful stuff. I use it every day, just some days twice. Pretty sticky but that's how it works. You'll need a moustache comb. I'm on my second can. The guitar pick applicator is cool.

Meh
Not that strong unless you have a very long stash and it doesn’t hold for long before breaking down.
