I ordered three of these and installed two of them. I chose not to change out a porch light yet. These lights are easy to install. They are significantly smaller than the lights I had previously. I was concerned that the light would be blocked since they are a bit busy but they were very bright upon initial installation. However, after a couple of months, one of them stopped working. I tried new bulbs with the same result. A month later, the second one also stopped working. Another bulb change also did not work. Time to look for lights elsewhere.

Light looks really nice! Always been a fan of the wall lantern look, and this light really does the job over my side door on my house. Highly recommended, great build feel, glass reflects the light beautiful and its easy to service the light bulb! I will update if there are any future problems.P.s.I added some vintage Edison style regular E26 LED light bulbs to put in this housing, man does it look great!

I like the style and look of the light. I was looking for a smaller fixture due to a smaller area to mount it as part of a remodel. So it sat in the garage for a few weeks. The light was perfect for my decor and it looked great installed on the front porch.The light was installed and stopped working after 2-3 days. New bulb didn't work.Electrician checked it. Light switch working. Power to the light. Light bulb working. He believes that the sensor stopped functioning and this disabled the light.The return period expired 4 days ago. Plus I had already tossed the box into the recycle bin.

We love them! Totally transformed the look of our house. Originally found them on Overstock for $70ish per light and so glad I checked Amazon! Love the dusk to dawn feature (that was a must) and that they are rated for wet environments (rain). Also we found them easy to install, pretty standard installation if you’re comfortable wiring lights and following directions.

Like most builder-grade homes, my porch light was ugly brass and I HATED it. When I saw this light for a great price, I figured I'd give it a shot.The first thing I noticed was that this light seemed sturdy and well-made. The second thing, though, was that this light is much smaller than it appears in the photo. In fact, I would recommend taking a close look at the dimensions of this light and comparing it to what you're replacing so you have a better idea of what you're going to end up with. I'd say that this light is roughly 30 percent smaller than what I already had, which was disappointing because I wanted something that was a bit bigger than what I already have. But I'm not going to hold it against the light that I didn't look close enough at the dimensions.I have some issues with the install, but I think that has more to do with my setup than the light. In particular, the part of the light that attaches to the wall is bigger than the "pedestal" on which my last light was mounted. In other words, the fit isn't quite right, but I went ahead and just finished up the install anyway (after messing with it for 3 hours, I just wanted it to be over!).Overall, I'd say this is a very nice little light for the price. As long as you know what you're getting, I can't imagine anyone being unsatisfied.

UPDATE: Within about a week of reporting the issue outlined below to Westinghouse, they sent me a replacement light "as a courtesy" and all is good. They said that they did not feel this was a warranty issue, but rather thought the light had been vandalized (which I know wasn't the case because I have security camera footage to prove it). I think that the light mount was either defective or was somehow damaged in the box and the cracked mount wasn't noticeable to the naked eye upon installation. Either way, Westinghouse made this right, so I'm updating my review to 5 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Installed this light about 45 days ago, and after some cold 15 degree temps and 30 mph winds overnight, I found the light had completely snapped off its base. It’s a fairly heavy light with the glass, and after seeing how it snapped, I’m not at all surprised because the metal is very thin where the fixture attaches to the metal base. The cheap $10 porch light from Lowe’s that this Westinghouse light replaced held up for 10+ years in way worse weather conditions, so this break is clearly a result of bad engineering or faulty manufacturing. I’ve emailed Westinghouse to see if this can be rectified through the 5-year warranty that is offered on this light, but I haven’t heard anything back from them. I’ll update this post if they make good on their warranty and replace the light.

I bought three of these lights last September. Just recently one of the three malfunctioned (light sensor). Amazon put me in touch with Westinghouse (the manufacturer) since it was beyond their return period. The Westinghouse consumer support person was extremely helpful. I was told the lights had a 5 year warranty and that they would FedEx me a replacement within the week. I'm happy. Thank you Amazon and Westinghouse!

Attractive and well constructed fixture. Back plate shown in specs different from the one included. It worked out well since the backplate openings allowed for a more flexible connection to our existing box which is quite old. Size may be smaller than some may expect but works well for our side entry door with an overhang. We are using a 100w LED - excellent illumination - no issues - light sensor has been very reliable.Bought a second fixture for the front door because of the illumination and the savings of using LEDs.
