I’m really impressed with my Alexa and the portable stand! The stand makes it so easy to move Alexa around the house, and I no longer have to worry about plugging it into a socket every time I want to use it in a different room. The battery lasts for a long time, allowing me to enjoy all of Alexa's features without interruptions. It’s a super practical setup that adds even more convenience to my daily routine. I highly recommend this combination for anyone who wants more flexibility and portability with their Alexa device!

I like this it goes great with my echo. Easy to use and you can see when it’s low.

Works as described

I have stationery Echos, both first generation and a fourth generation Studio as well as a Dot and a tap. This one was meant for the kitchen, so I could get better sound but not have to keep moving the Tap around. It does the job but I am only using it for about a half an hour each day. Therefore, don't like to keep the base turned on all the time because that also requires keeping it plugged in and turned on which will ultimately shorten the battery life, despite the internal overcharge prevention circuits. This means I have to repower it up every time I want to use it, which requires resyncing, if I want to keep the base charged for portability. There is the option of keeping it plugged in directly, not on the charging base, in which case it will work in the same way as a standard stationary Echo.It just takes a little extra planning but is a nice piece and worth the price. It's a nice Solid peace and, because of the wide base, isn't likely to tip over the way a Tap might.

It to me a min to figure install. and other things but that is just me. .I got this to take Alexa onto my patio and back yard.This only fits the round ECO. Which works for me. Yes I have older versions too.The signal was good. but that again depends on your WIFI.the sound quality was good too. Nothing on quality change because of batter use. I have not had my batter run out unexpectedly. Only time will say how well the batter does.But the other best part is my round ECO runs more warm more than the other models. it affected finish on a piece of furniture and I had to move it fix the spot and keep a coaster under it. (affecting the finish could be the quality of finish, other items were fine with it) This battery is a much nicer solution looks & stability with portability. an all around win

I was skeptical until I viewed some Y-Tube videos about all the of the Amazon echo products and settled on the large Echo 4th generation. I could not be most pleased with my purchase. This 4th generation product is beyond fun to play with. Great sound. Awesome sound. Fills the room and will play any type you want and I have linked it with my music stations and it works as advertised. I purchased the battery base and I am so happy I did. First it give the Echo 4th generation a great stability and it is not going to roll is inadvertently touched or bumped. The base is solid. Second we wanted to be able to move it to the outside for music while we are around the pool. The battery gives about 5 hours of use before I needed to plug it in. Don't buy the Echo 4th generation large unit without the base you will be most pleased with your purchase. I now will be purchasing two more units for the rest of the house for full house sound and for an intercom. The white is pleasant looking.

I initially thought this was pretty cool to have, because i never liked the fact that the Echo had to stay plugged in a certain spot to work. None the less his is my 2nd echo. lol I do like it. But I thought with this newer looking echo let me try this base. So there were instructions but none that tell you to unscrew this little cap off the echo where the echo needs to sit. Point is Im pretty tech savvy but i had to call the amazon customer service rep and she couldn't figure it out either. SMH In the end of all that I realized something on the echo had to be removed for the base to sit.Ok the other issue is I thought once charged the base would have a long charge. NOPE it doesn't, Not good. And most days i do not even use my echo b/c im at work. By the next day and with little use the batter is dead and therefore you need to plug it up and charge it again. Might as well just keep the echo itself plugged in all day. smhThis base is not the optimal base as it doesn’t keep charge for very long using the echo or not.

My husband loves music! I have never bought a present for him that leaves him extremely happy. Of our 19 acre farm, 3 areas is our yard. My son came out and hooked an extender to our fiber optic wifi network and he can take it to any of the porches, barns, his party/cook area, which is quiet a distance from our house. The portable charger really makes the Alexa 4th gen adaptable anywhere. The sound and quality are fantastic. Our kids and grandkids love it when we have a get together. They can play their music now and everyone having fun... dancing and you name it. We have a night time hayride every fall close to halloween and the kids love when we play the old Monster Mash song and at Easter we have a big cakewalk and now with the Alexa, we can play great sounding/quality music for this event. This Alexa is worth every penny I paid for it.
