So much better than using screws or nails

Cut off a piece of the stem and used it to plug the hole I put in the back of the caulk. Saw it from a hack.

While this may work while using on caulking tubes cut for large fillets, it doesn't work well with small application openings. In pushing the tool into the opening of the caulking tube, it had to be pushed hard to just get started into the tube. The material seems brittle and it broke quickly. Rather than ending up with a broken segment of the item in the tube, I pulled it out and used my old method. Something a bit more flexible would make things easier.

They are ok nothing special

Better product is Caulk Caps. go on like a condom and reuseable

I am very impressed with how well these work. I received these and used one to "plug" an open tube of caulking, and was surprised that even months later I am still able to pull it and use the caulking. Amazing product, exceeded my expectations!
