I have been using my own homemade masks since covid started back in march 2020 but decided as the virus seems like it will be around for some time, I thought I'd better buy some better ones with filters. After searching through a lot of masks with bad reviews, I found these ones & they had good reviews so I ordered some. I am very pleased with them, they are so comfortable, well made, a good fit with no gaps anywhere, not too thin & have filters with carbon. The ear loops are adjustable too. I highly recommend these masks.

First off, I don't wear the additional filter so I can't comment on it. I have mild asthma and was struggling to draw breath with a previous mask. These are much easier to breathe through and are very comfortable, especially with the adjustable elastic. I was wearing one when I twice had a high pressure room sanitiser sprayed directly (and deliberately) into my face. Along with the glasses I was wearing, I was protected from the worst of the blast, suffering only mild rawness of the chest and shortness of breath. My younger colleague was not so lucky and was still suffering over a week later. I don't doubt for a second that things would have been worse for me without the mask on.They are a good fit and I can mostly prevent my glasses steaming up; they handle being hand-washed well. Packaged neatly and individually. I'm here now to order a second set.

Being prone to asthma and having to wear the NHS-style paper masks for work, I’m used to not being able to breathe easily when wearing them – resulting in having to remove them at frequent intervals. Outside of work I wanted something that was at least comfortable to wear. What I love about this set of cotton masks, is that they’re comfortable, reusable and I can breathe! I received two black and one maroon-coloured masks in the set, each made from cotton and with removable and washable filters. The lace-type fastenings are also adjustable for comfort and there’s no itchiness or discomfort when wearing them.Good quality and well worth the price.

Each mask comes individually wrapped, and the filters make them very comfy to wear as they prevent the material from being sucked in when you're talking or breathing hard from walking fast. I hadn't used filters before and thought they'd make the mask feel much thicker and, therefore, harder to breathe, but it was quite the opposite. The ability to fit it round the nose because of the wire is an added bonus. Finally, they have not skimped on the material and the adjustable ear ties are excellent. Very well-made masks and so very happy with this purchase.

Having bought a seemingly endless stream of useless masks I was really pleased when I tried on the first mask I opened which was a maroon colour. Nicely made and a great fit. The filter fitted in easily too and did not make breathing unduly difficult. Result! I thought.However the next one opened was the blue one. Much smaller - presumably for a child - and the filter pocket was only open at one end making fitting the filter much more fiddly. Size wise no use to me or my wife.The third one (black) was again smaller than the maroon one and but like the maroon had a double ended opening for the filter and size wise is just about useable by my wife.Why the listing doesn't state that they are all different sizes is beyond me!? (no sizing on the individual packets either) If I'd received three all like the maroon it would have been 5 stars.Also Amazon star rating - why isn't there a 'description' accuracy rating?

This is my third order of these masks, as they're so good that everyone in the family wants them! The wire over the nose, adjustable ear loops and the chin cup create a snug fit that stay in place when talking. The soft material is comfortable to wear, and an inner pocket for changeable filter gives added protection. I usually wash them by hand to prevent shrinking and protect the nose wire, but I have also washed them in the machine at 40 degrees with very little shrinkage and no damage. Highly recommended.

Good, substantial feeling mask.Pros: Good size so covers face well (doesn’t ride up/down); nose clip helps keep it in place or leaving it open allows more air flow; ear elastic adjustable for a better fit. Definitely the best mask I have tried so far. Filters are an added bonus.Cons: As it is thicker, it is much warmer than others I have worn. Although the filter is good, it does restrict breathing with it in (it’s fine without). Nose clip is useful to hold in place, although the wire is slightly off centre and it does restrict air flow (I just loosen it off). Lastly, the inside of the mask is white fabric, not as good for ladies who wear make up.I would definitely buy again.
