This is an excellent replacement for the solar remote that now comes with Samsung smart tvs. This little remote works straight out of the box, no pairing needed, and is easy to use. The buttons you need to navigate your tv are right at your finger tips and makes it more convenient and easy to access all the features on your smart tv. The solar remote is clunky and not user friendly and this button controlled remote has made my tv viewing experience much easier. All the buttons on the remote work and perform well. It functions well and I've had zero problems with it. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't like fooling around with the new solar remotes that come with some brands of tvs. This remote provides the functionality and user friendly interface that many of us prefer. It was a great purchase for me and I'm happy with it.

Wow!! This works great. So responsive and I love the 3 shortcut buttons, too. I put in the batteries and it synced up immediately with my tv. So impressed, I ordered another one for bedroom tv.

This universal remote was just what I needed! It was simple to program and works seamlessly with my TV. The buttons are responsive, and the layout is easy to navigate. It’s been a great backup (and even replaced our original remote). Super handy and affordable!

Couldn’t turn on hulu on remote! Otherwise it sinkked up with the tv very quickly

Works like a brand new one with all the new buttons and features and not a copy cat generic remote, oh some minor buttons may be in a different location along the bottom, easy and cheap ( in price not quality ).

I ordered two of these over two months ago and have used them continuously to make sure they worked well before writing this review. Like me, you probably wanted a remote like this because it has NUMBER buttons and you don't have to "talk" to it and fool around endlessly like you do with the new remotes that come with the new Samsung TV's.Before I found this remote I had very unsatisfactory performance with 4 (FOUR) of a similar, much longer remote sold on amazon by a company called "EWO'S". On every one of them the number button became unresponsive after just a few weeks. That is not a problem with this remote sold here at amazon by a company called "EONCHARM".Both of these ''EONCHARM" Samsung universal remotes work perfectly -- and the all the buttons work very quickly and responsively. Too bad Samsung doesn't provide remotes like THIS when you buy the TV brand new.... Hey, I'm an old guy. I don't want to "talk" to the TV or navigate through a bunch of menus. I want to press buttons on a remote control unit and have the TV do what I want without any further "interaction"! Order this remote if you feel the same way.

It’s a remote that’s supposed to work with my tv (yes I triple checked) and the on/off button doesn’t turn the tv on/off nor do the accessory buttons work such as the Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc button but thankfully the home button that brings up those apps does. It was $10 so I’m not really all that upset for a replacement remote but I’ll be sending it back since I’m too laze to get up to turn the tv on and off myself because otherwise what’s the point of the remote 😂 it was worth a shot and will be trying to find one that at least appeals to my lazy (yes I’m pathetic no I don’t care, judge me lol). I will say, it was simple to use, no set up or programming so definitely a plus

Works well however the Netflix and Hulu buttons do not work. Not a deal breaker. The remote is lighter weight.
