My dog really enjoys this food, especially the chicken flavor. I cook fresh protein for him and add fruit or other toppings, so this bag lasts me a while, making it a good value for the price. The kibble looks well-made, and when I add water to soften it, I can actually see pieces of carrots, which makes me feel like it’s staying true to the ingredients which area clean and healthy. He hasn’t had any stomach issues or bad reactions, so I feel good about feeding it to him. Overall, this is a great option, and I’d definitely recommend it!

My dog has not had kibble in such a long time. I was going through the trouble of making her food. I tried Justfoodfordogs and Instinct Raw Frozen/Raw Dehydrated. I felt like I was spending a fortune to keep my dog fed and she would always eventually tire of each food. I’ve realized she does need change but I have been really happy to discover this brand of dog food. Their 4 lb bag is the perfect size. It’s just enough to keep my dog interested in the food. I think she’s on her 2nd or 3rd bag of kibble (different flavors each time) and she still eats it with enthusiasm. I did have mix it with wet food from a different brand because she did start to throw it up when I would give it to her dry. My dog is very old and has had pancreatitis in the past, so I don’t attribute it to the dog food brand. Between their kibble and dehydrated food, my dog prefers to the kibble. It smells like a doggie cookie.

After years and years of buying different foods I finally found a food where my Shih tzu can finally eat without throwing up!! She has an extremely sensitive stomach but not after finding this food. She is absolutely obsessed and is finally able to put on some healthy weight. If your pup has a sensitive stomach, you should definitely try this food out.

I have one dog who tends to be more sensitive to food and another who is a picky eater. In the past we have tried different Kirkland kibble, Stella & Chewy, and Blue Buffalo. I did a lot of research on different kibbles and decided The Honest Kitchen is the winner. Both of my dogs love the food and transitioned well. My picky eater doesn’t get tired of the food after a couple weeks, and my other dog hasn’t gotten dandruff.I like the ingredients compared to other kibble and that there is an option for small breeds although my pups didn’t have an issue with the larger size. I even took a bite of the kibble just to see out of curiosity, and it tasted like a cracker that had been dipped in beef broth and dried out. I am not recommending tasting your dog’s kibble, but I was curious…The bag of small breed did have more powder in it compared to the standard size I purchased at a local store, but I am unsure if that’s due to the different kibble sizes or something else. I wouldn’t expect zero powder and wouldn’t make this a reason for not purchasing again off Amazon.The price is more expensive, but I feel as if these days you get what you pay for. The price point doesn’t bother me because I use this kibble as a base and appreciate the quality.

I like this brand bc there is no added sodium or junk. I ate one and it tasted like a ritz cracker. My dog doesn’t get excited to eat it but he’s picky and prefers salmon and eggs. His bowel movements are always healthy after eating this food and he tolerates it well

I use this in my dogs snuffle mat and he goes crazy for it. It keeps him entertained for a little while. If I decide to just pull out a few cubes and give as a treat, I make sure a lay out a few cubes for the cat as well. The cat enjoys it just as much as my pup. Great quality too.

My dogs won't eat it. I have 2 toy poodles and they will barely touch this stuff. I had a different brand before and even the cats would eat it. Now the dogs and cats eat the cat food and will occasionally take a small nibble. Guess I"m going back to the old brand.

This is a really high grade dog food!
