Install would be easier the second time. Un-packing the box was difficult for me as parts were in the box but was a puzzle to get them out of the box?This unit weighs nearly 70 pounds and at my age it took some doing to get it assembled. I was successful but if I had to do it again, I could put it together in the 20 minuets as advertised. The first time it took me almost 2 hours.

This cushion fits exactly and attaches easily. It'll save you countless hours and immeasurable frustration with bubble wrap and towels. You could fashion something to add a little padding out of all that bubble wrap you get in the Amazon boxes, but don't. It'll stick to you. Do you really need something else sticking to you? If you really need more padding than this provides when on the inversion table, you're doing it wrong. Just sit on the couch and turn the TV upside down.

A must for your Teeter. I thought the Teeter was comfortable but husband wanted a softer feel. Product arrived quickly, was very easy to install and makes our inversions much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The comfort level with a pad is so much better that I cannot imagine why Teeter would not sell it with the machine. Of course, I am a lean person and need extra cushioning. Maybe heavier people do not notice. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think all things can be improved upon.

liked the table as it was but saw reviews that recommended the pad for added comfort, and it does exactly that.
