I bought these trays so I can have some larger ice cubes while sipping whiskey or any other alcohol. These cubes are the perfect size. Just big enough to fit in my whiskey glasses (barely lol) and yet big enough not to melt easily and make your drink watery before you can finish it. Great for the occasional sip or for entertaining!

If you check the reviews of competitive products many of them talk about the smell. These have no smell and are easy to use.

I bought one long ago and hated it because of the foul odor. Read on Cool Tools in a comment they had fixed this, and they did. Great large ice cubes for drinks, last a long time.

I have tried other brands, and this is the best I've tried so far. Other brands have absorbed freezer smells I could never get rid of. Another brand I could NOT get the cubes out, so I put it in a garage sale. I bought my first Tovolo ice cube tray 2 years ago, and it is still the best one I've had.

This mold is a lot easier to fill and freeze than my sphere molds, and the cubes last in my cocktails.

I don’t have experience with other square molds, but no need to try any other. Ice comes out easily and the mold is sturdy. This company makes great sphere molds as well.

This ice mold is awesome. I haven’t noticed any bad taste like others have mentioned. It’s compact and made of good quality. I can also confirm each cube is 1/2 cup. I love the big ice cubes because I don’t have to worry about it melting as fast. Only downsides are that it’s difficult to get the cubes out of the mold and it would be better to have a lid. Would order again.

No rubbery smell or taste in ice cubes.Easy to wash, easy to use, easy to pop out (although of course you have to put in a bit of effort to push out cubes, it’s not just going to slide out by itself). Fits perfectly in a whiskey glass. Highly recommend!

Less than two months old and it makes your drinks taste disgusting. I tried soaking in vinegar and water but can't get the nasty taste out. I read that Tavolo fixed this problem but apparently not.

Love the size of these. Great quality and hope the tray lasts.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do: make nice, large, cubic ice cubes.
