Weleda Skin Food Travel Size -- 0.34 fl oz

This is tinier than I thought, but perfect for my purse. This stuff is magic. It smells a bit strong, probably because of the lanolin, but I will never pay for luxury moisturizer again. I’m 45 and since I’ve been using this on my face (normal skin), the difference is really noticeable: when I put it on at night, my skin looks fresh and plump when I wake up in the morning. The label says this is for elbows and feet or dry, rough skin. They are crazy not to market this as a decadent face cream! I have one in the bathroom for my face, one by my bed for my feet, and another in my purse for my hands. THE BEST.

Skin food is my holy grail of skin care. I turn to it for almost every problem I have with my skin. My skin is sensitive and reactive and I have zero problems with this. If I have a rash I'll use it on that. Eczema? That too. Sunburn? Yep. Dry skin? Most definitely. Healing cut? That too to help prevent scarring once the cut is closed enough. Have chapped lips? Have done that too. It's too heavy for me to use in the summer unless I've had a reaction to something. I've given this to almost everyone as a gift. I keep a travel size in my purse and my travel toiletries. One little tube is enough to last me for months so it's also economical. It's a must have staple for me.

How have I lived without this stuff? I have adult acne and very sensitive skin. I'm allergic to sulfates and coco betaine, among many other chemicals commonly found in cosmetics and soaps. I've been tortured the last year purchasing oodles of creams and soaps to find something that I'm not allergic to. Finally something deserving the name "natural". This stuff is PERFECT! After using it for more than a week, paired with the Weleda cold cream for my eye makeup and almond cleansing lotion, my skin is finally clear. No more soap for my face! My skin no longer flakes, breaks out, or has redness. I can put it on my eyes in the morning and put makeup on top of it, no creasing. I'm in love. I now use it before bedtime for my middle aged skin on my eyes especially (no irritation or burning on my eyes), as well as the rest of my face. People with allergies, irritated skin, post laser or other peels, this is for you. Your skin will definitely thank you for it. No burning, no peeling, no irritation at all. When you first open the bottle, you'll see what looks more like an ointment, but if you squeeze the tube just a tiny bit more you'll see the cream. The cream is very thick, and goes a very long way. When I don't use the creams on my face, or want a break from the lotions, I use micellular water as a toner.

The moisturizer is amazing; smooth, absorbs rapidly, and with a pleasing scent that isn't overwhelming.Word to the wise, buy the full size product. The travel size is minuscule. The full size is a much better value for your money.

i got this travel size because i really like weleda skin food but wanted a small size for my gym bag. the size of this tube is perfect for travel, and i'm glad its still metal (seems like weleda has switched to plastic tubes recently, at least for full sizes). skin food is great for winder dry skin, especially on hands and around the nostrils. i also use it as a lip balm and in the outer corners of my eyes. it has calendula and some beeswax, so its soothing and it stays in place. it is a heavy moisturizer, and initially will leave a greasy residue but it does absorb withing a couple minutes.

Love the product, just not sold on the scent.

This stuff is legit! I have severely dry skin, so I use this even on my face. Smells good (my daughter said to me just this morning after I applied it, "You smell like oranges!"), and moisturizes beautifully! It does sit greasy for a bit, but once it soaks in, my skin feels insanely soft! And I haven't had any issues with it messing with my primer or makeup. I bought the full size, and a tiny travel size for my purse!

Love the tiny tube. Great size for the purse. Great as lip balm. I also buy the full size for night face moisturizer, very hydrating.
