ring light does what it's supposed to do. very sturdy & light weight

This ring light hits the sweet spot for features, ease of use, and price. I use it for online meetings. Easy to set up, and the tripod is tall enough for me to use with my standing desk; it comes up behind my iMac with the included tripod (quite sturdy and easy to adjust) on the floor. I also appreciate the phone holder so that I can use my phone as a replacement for the low-quality webcam built into my computer (using the Camo app). Could be just a bit brighter, since the bottom of the ring is partially blocked by the back of my computer as I have it set up now, but I'm very happy with this purchase.

So when you see a headline that says "great for the price", that usually means if you spent more money, you'd get better, not in this case. I know absolutely nothing about these types of lights that tik tok, youtube, and twitch users use to light themselves up, but when I put this together, which was very VERY easy, and turned it on, to my amazement, it actually lit up the whole room!!!!! Then I experimented with the different lighting settings, they all work perfectly. This is an X-mas present for the wife. She streams on twitch. She will absolutely love this and think it's FIRE as she puts it.

So I was expecting the light to be on the cheaper end because of the price tag. The brightness is phenomenal for the price point! However, there are a few technical issues I ran into after setting it up and testing it out. The dim feature doesn't really work for me. When I press the minus button on the remote to dim the light it starts flashing. Only the brightest setting and the darkest avoid doing this. Another issue I ran into is the tripod phone attachment. I have an iPhone 12 max pro, with an otter box case, so my phone BARELY fit in the phone clip attachment, and then when I attached it to the actual tripod, the phone was too heavy for it to hold up straight. Thankfully I have a separate tripod I can use to hold my phone, but if you are looking for this product to perform both tasks, make sure you have a smaller phone than me. I haven't tested it with a smaller phone yet, but the bendable part of the tripod where your phone goes seems very weak. it will probably overtime have trouble holding any size phone. Just my two cents, but other than those two issues, its a great product for 30 dollars.

I honestly couldn't say enough good things about this Ringlight and stand. It's advertised as 59", but it is much, much taller than that. I'm 6'4" (76") and the ring light stands face level with me. The lights are bright and have just enough adjustable levels for various lighting needs. The phone arm is sturdy but flexible, holding my Pixel 3 in place for extended periods of time with no signs of drooping, and the clamp is very firm, holding onto it snugly without damaging the device.

The durability of this product was low. Although I kept it for two years. It was never properly assembled and power source was low. Meaning that when it plugged into the wall it turned off on its own when it was over used or over worked. I used this & found more suitable and comfortable lighting and it stayed in the closet until it tipped over one day and the white lighting portion broke off. The lighting still worked. Also the portion which holds the device was not durable.

How did I survive without this ring light? My house gets very little natural light, so taking photos or going live on social media was a nightmare before it arrived. I literally had to plan everything around the weather for natural light. This product has freed me of that chain. LololIt was extremely easy to setup and is very easy to use. This is literally one of the best lighting products I’ve found. Such a huge timesaver for me.

I'm very happy with my new ring light. I'm using it strictly for work video conference calls and think it will work fine for this purpose. I don't think I would recommend for use if you need to travel with it. It's sturdy enough for use in one place, but don't know that it would last long being put together and taken apart a lot. I did keep the padded box for storing the ring light when I'm not using. On the quality of the light, it was great. there is a remote attached to the USB cord to turn on the light and change lighting scenarios. The light removed shadows along my cheeks and chin-- probably removed 10 years! Very happy with my purchase.
