Rocky Men's Rks0437 Hiking Boot

Super comfy, no break in needed. Great traction but the soles are flexible enough to feel small branches under the leaves. The last pair of rockys I had lasted 10 plus hunting seasons, I'm sure these will be the same.

These boots are very comfortable and look great. The first day I wore them to work i did have some issues with the lacing system but that was easy resolved by skippng the off set rungs between the lower eyelets and the upper speed eyelets Firt off it was almost impossible to lace them snugly with the way they were laced and when after getting them somewhat snugged up i found they were then difficult to loosen the laces enough to remove them after work. I like my boots to go on and off quickly. After relacing and skipping the center offset lace they do just that. I am very happy with these boots boots now. Oh yea if you ask me taking the laces out of the little slit in the tunge is also a no brainer. What's the point of speed laces if you can't use them???

I have x-wide feet and these were a little too wide in wide width. Got the regular and just right. Solved a back of heel bursitis. The 8 inches is great to lock around your calf and prevent heel from rubbing on back of boot. They’re on the heavy side, but great for rough terrain or work or walking. Dry feet always and not too hot. I have 3 pair now including the winter insulated. Those are also fantastic. Laces unravel after awhile leaving you with the inner very strong black lace. Still works though. Will replace those with paracord laces soon.

Rocky boots have always been my go to work boot, hunting, fishing and just kicking around boot. but for some reason this time around they fit me a little snug and I really needed to get a extra,extra wide boot. also and it may just be me where I've had both of my ankles broken in the past but for some reason the first set of pull eyelets for the boot strings rubbed right on my ankle bone, no matter how i laced them, loose or tight. It could just be because I needed a wider boot.. Thanks for the really quick and very professional customer service.. in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, " I'll be back"

Tool a while to break in but now is a very comfortable boot. Seems to be well made .The lacing system is a bit funky but all in all this boot will do the job and last a long time. Tread seems to have a self cleaning function by design that sheds mud easily which in my usage is a plus.

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. It only took less than a week to break them in. They are good for hunting in cool weather and for moderate hiking. They keep my feet dry in rainy weather. These are a good all around boot. I would buy them again.

I love my Rocky Bearclaws but they are a very heavy boot with wide treat and my feet sometimes get stuck in between the pedals of my car. I saw the Rocky Ranger and really loved the design and the shoelace hoops and hooks looked like they would not chew up the laces like most do. Upon arrival It looked to be well constructed, was much lighter than my bear claws and overall was a nice looking boot for about half of the bear claw. Wrap this boot around your foot and that's when you realize you get what you pay for. May just be my 1 boot but the left boot is built in a way that every step is painful as the boot digs into the top side of your foot at the crease. The footed is also not comfortable at all and I would never buy these again. Beautiful looking boot but I'll stick to the bear claws. May leave on some street corner for the bums to fight over.
