Works as expected.
The product itself is easy to use. Before you connect to the device, download the free "HD SEE" application from the App Store or from Google Play. The app will do absolutely nothing until you connect the camera via Wi-Fi, so literally don't even bother using it.To use the camera, plug it in to the small base which resembles a USB power bank, turn it on, and it creates a Wi-Fi hotspot. Connect to that Wi-Fi hotspot (which will be called YPC_XXXXXX, where the X's are replaced with the last 6 digits of the unit's MAC address), and the password is 12345678. Your device should complain that you cannot access the Internet over that hotspot, but that's okay. Once you're connected, open up the HD SEE application, and your camera's display should be visible. The camera has a fixed focal length and it's not very far away from the lens, so if you're too close or too far, it will be blurry. But play with the distance and the light (there's a knob on the side of the dongle) and you should be able to get a clear picture. If you are going to immerse the camera in water, you MUST screw on the small clear cap included. Otherwise, the camera itself is not waterproof. Also included are a hook attachment and a magnet attachment for picking up or fishing out items. My skill at picking stuff up is not quite all there yet, but I'm trying. The included carry case is perfect. It's a perfect size for the product. But it's fake leather, and they put a sticker on the fake leather that reminds you that if the camera isn't working out of the box, charge it. They could have accomplished that with a small slip of paper inside the package and not had to apply a sticker to the outside of the carry case. To me, that's a little disappointing, but literally that's just me. You may not care. All in all, I'm happy with the device. It appears to be working exactly as expected.

the endoscope works on both devices and best of all
I had problems pairing the endoscope with my iPhone 6, the phone will not recognize the wifi box and at one point I though there must be something wrong and about to return it, then I decided to hook it up to my iPad and whalla, it work!!! then I decided to investigate a bit as to why it won't work with the iPhone. For some reason, the automatic connection on the iPhone does not work with the box, but what I did is copied the settings from the iPad and entered manually into the iPhone and success!! now, the endoscope works on both devices and best of all, it also works on my Windows 10 NuVision tablet, for this to work, just connect it to the USB port without using the wifi box and pick CAMERA from the OS, tablet will open defaulting to the front camera, them choose the back camera and the endoscope will come on, there is nothing else to install.

Battery Dead As In Not Able To Charge After First Use!
The setup and use of this endoscope was easy. However, the battery died after first use and I don't mean needing to be charged. It will not charge and is now useless! Worst item I have bought in a long, long time. Tried to return but was out of the return window. Concept of wireless is great but if the battery doesn't hold up past first use, the thing is useless. I have had it on charge for over a week now. When this thing arrived, I charged the battery just like the instructions indicated. I used it to inspect a pipe in a wall and it worked great. Image is not the best but good enough to do this job. Put it up in my toolbox and took it out last week for another project. Started charging the battery. After a day I expected to be in full charge mode. Nope. Put it on charge again for almost a week. Still won't charge and will not power up the camera and the led! So, the use of it for one project cost me about 25 bucks. Could have rented a professional model for that price!!

Camera's narrow focus region makes this fairly useless
I tried to use this in two situations so far: looking into the space above a closed-in shower through a hole drilled in the wallboard and looking under a dishwasher through an access hole.In both cases, the primary problem is that the depth of the image that is in focus is quite limited -- just a few inches from the lens. This means that you literally are mostly looking at very fuzzy images that are extremely hard to interpret. What is needed is for a very large region to be in focus -- from close to the lens to many feet away. The unit seems well built, I was able to easily connect between the device and my phone, the endoscope cable is long enough and stiff enough, and it has handy accessories (although I found the 90 degree mirror virtually useless). But in summary, I can't recommend this to purchase since the images it sends are mostly out of focus.

Scope saves the day!
I bought this scope to see if my cat pushed a ring in a hole in the floor used for utility wires. Turns out my ring and a bunch of other stuff were down there as well. Scope was easy to use and theres an app to conveniently see what the scope/camera picks up. I can see using this a lot not only for my jerky cat antics but for other things. I know this will come in handy. I'm thinking it could come in handy when you lose things in tight spaces like in the car. The scope comes in a nice hard case. As usual delivery was swift :)

Doesn’t work as described.
I wish I could give this camera/scope more than one star but I can’t. Like others have stated it’s hard to connect. For me it refused to connect on my iPhone 10xr but worked fine when I used my iPad. The image is out of focus, so you won’t be able to make anything out. It won’t go down a drain easily if at all. If I could do it all again I would pass on this camera/scope/junk..

Great product. Killer price.
I am a smart home a/v integrator. I pull wire all day long and sometimes I need a rad camera for those tricky lil fishes. Well, I’ll probably only use it once or twice a year, so, those $350 inspection scopes can just sit on the shelf. I’ll take this $30 beaut any day. It works, the app works. Best of all I don’t have to ruin my camera angle to get a look at the monitor.
