You have to be very close to get any initial benefit from it to begin with, but does gradually warm the room. Probably most effective in small rooms. Whisper quiet so doesn't disturb anything at all...

This worked really well for 2-3 months. Recently, I put it on in my bedroom to warm the room before going to bed. I went downstairs for just a few minutes and by the time I came back, it had flames coming out of it and my room had filled with smoke. Thankfully, nothing else caught fire! But had I got distracted with a phone call or sat to watch the tv etc and left it unattended for just a little longer, I have little doubt it would've caused a catastrophic house fire!!Do not buy this item. For the sake of a few £ here or there it really isn't worth burning your house down for.

Can be used horizontal or vertical, this beautifully packaged 500W PET heater completely warmed my office within half a minute. In fact, its 500W feels warmer than a useless 600W heater I bought recently and complained it kept stopping. Whereas this little beauty just keeps on going, is packed with safety features and above all, is quiet. 30db quiet means you really could sleep without being disturbed.The PET heater arrived in a carton that suggested it cost a lot more. This would make a super inexpensive present to someone. I really love it and might buy another one for our other bedroom. I'm so pleased with it. :)

Easy to use but does not have a strong heat output. Also sends your electricity bill sky high

After reading reviews on this products my Husband and I decided to get one for our Conservatory as it was very cold in there even thought we had got a heater in there ,but it was proving very expensive to run. and I liked the conservatory for doing jigsaws in .However when it was delivered my Husband said it was to fall, infact he said it was a toy, but we reserved judgement to when we had tried it.Our findings were that it was no good what so ever as it was just to small to be any good ,the output was only any good for a very small room. and to make any difference in a medium sized area you would have to lace in on forever, so we returned it.
