I am NOT using this for heavy camera equipment, but this is clearly meant to hold heavy items. It is definitely not light weight, so I would not use this directly on delicate/easily breakable surfaces like a laptop. I like the rubber grips for the clamps which protects the surface it is gripping and from slipping, but it makes the gooseneck less flexible. It may take some fennegling to position it as you see fit, but it is not easily breakable. It is durable. I also like that it brings a nut bolt fastener as a second way to grip should you not want to use both clamp. (With both clamps it tends to tilt forward a bit as it can be top heavy.) Overall a good quality product for many purposes.

Great clips. Works wonders with the shoe and if you remove the shoe the screw is universal camera size so my audio receiver screws right on. I didn’t see that it comes as a set. Very surprised.

The Photo Studio Light Stand Background Holder has such limited flexibility that it prevents me from using it for the intended purpose. In addition to the flexibility issue it is quite heavy. The arm, spring clamp and tripod clamp together weigh a pound and six ounces. The ends of the flexible arm are not cut straight across offering a less secure fit than had they been. I'll keep it since it is not defective and will likely find a use for it at some later time.

The item is very sturdy easy to assemble.

The “wire” is weak, bendable but not sturdy so I have to constantly rig it or use a string of sorts to hold it in place. The clips are great but I didn’t get it for the clips.

This stand is strong and versatile. It worked for me as a holder for a magnifying screen.

I actually used these clips to make a phone clip for my boyfriend's guitar. I attached a phone holder with the same ball joint attachment and it is perfect. Heavy duty, super tight clip that doesn't fall off and it transfers sound incredibly when clipped on the arm of the guitar. It was his favorite gift and his brother who also plays guitar loved it so much his wife ended up doing the same thing for him for his birthday. Sturdy, heavy duty, strong grip clip. Will order again for other DIY things like this if I ever have the need!

I like the sturdiness. I wish the attachments could be used on more surfaces. The clamp mount is very hard to position at the desired direction. The grip for the table only opens 1.5 inches not enough for all tables.

The clamps arrived on time and intact. I have no intention of testing the load limits of the clamps. Suffice it to say, they are simple, versatile, and cost-effective.

Large! I was expecting two flimsy metal clips for my ring lights but I’m very pleasantly surprised, these will last forever!

Need clamps that pivot with 1/4" thread. Boom. Buy em. Tight clamp. One point of note is the tightening screw lines up with the underside of the grip for the clamp so its a tad bit awkward
