USA Sharpeners SSNSP Sew and Sharp Needles Sharpening Pad

It seems to do a good job but I need to order the bigger one. This one didn't last long for me.

I haven't used this yet for my sewing machine needles, but I did sharpen a few of my hand sewing needles and it worked very well. I can hardly wait to see how the sewing machine needles work with this. I use lots of needles so this will be a great money saver, as sewing machine needles seem to dull very quickly.

I know this is primarily intended for sewing machine needles, but I wanted to try it for my broaches and pins. You need to insert the pin several times to have any affect and even then, it did not seem to sharpen very well. As I said, I am not using this for the specific purpose it was advertised for, but I am still a little disappointed in the results.

I give this four stars only because I haven't been able to use it very many times yet. Since I've started using it it definitely has prolonged the life of the sewing machine needles, which saves me $.

Product does what it advertised it would do. Sharpers pins, needles and sew rippers. I will buy again when this ne is worn out. I had never heard of this product before I saw it on Amazon.

All sewing machine needles are expensive, especially the specialty needles. I use embroidery needles and considering how many I use, this nifty little device will pay for itself in just weeks!!I can recommend this money saver to all sewers, quilters, embroiders and crafters who want to keep on smiling!!
