These are thinner hangers than your standard round plastic type, so you get a bit more items per linear foot of closet. The fake velvet on them is quite grabby, which is good if you have things that have trouble staying on other hangers because they slip off or have openings too wide to stay. That also makes it hard to use them on very fragile thin fabric items that have to have the hanger passed through them to put up - they may stretch things out a bit or get stuck as you are putting them on the hanger. So a little of a double edged sword.Honestly though, you read reviews of something like this to know whether the item will fall apart immediately or has a weird smell or something you can't anticipate by looking at photos. None of those apply. You get a box of smaller boxes of hangers, they work, that's about it.

Should have taken a before pic, but that would have meant taking a picture of the chair in my bedroom that has become the unfortunate dumping ground for the clothes I can't fit in the closet. Ended up buying a total of 150 and haven't used all of them, because there is another smaller closet (I know, even smaller than the one in these pics) I'm about to redo. I feel so old saying that this it's satisfying to see all the hangers *match* now - this is a very adult thing to end up doing, but OMG, it's worth it if you are long on clothes and short on closet space.I ended up buying the ivory because I did not want to risk having black flocking come off on lighter clothes that I hang while damp - so thank you to the reviewers who said that was a potential issue with the black flocking.Also, yes, you can't just reach in and grab a shirt and pull it off the hanger. You do have to be more deliberate with taking/putting back on the hanger. However, if you scrunch up the first sleeve and put the first side of the hanger through the scrunched up part, you won't have an issue putting the shirt on the hanger. Yes, it does take a bit more time with things like sweaters or mock turtlenecks. But all you do is send the hanger up the bottom opening of the piece of clothing and put it on that way so you avoid stretching out the clothes.One of the better decisions I've made when it comes to getting more organized. I even "found" a few items of clothing that I KNEW I had, but they were so crammed into the closet before I did this that I couldn't find them.I don't have many heavy jackets because of where I live, but the one I do have is a heavy, bulky duster (ankle-length on me since I'm short) and the hanger supports it just fine.Highly recommend if you are trying to regain control of your closet and clothes.Doesn't make putting away laundry such a nightmare. . .I would leave things on the chair (meaning that I couldn't sit in it unless I moved everything to the bed) because I knew I couldn't fit them into the closet. So these have definitely eliminated that frustration!

I have weird dirty spots or mold?? And I’ve found 2 hangers broken but there types hangers are cheaper then everywhere else I’ve looked.

I'm very pleased with both the company and the product. These are very nice hangers, and a great value for the price. I do agree with the reviews that advise against trying to swivel the hanger hook around... I don't think they would hold up well to that, but that isn't a deal-breaker for me. Otherwise these hangers seem well-made. I haven't had any issues with excessive felt fuzz, and these hangers do what they are supposed to do-- hold onto garments and keep them from sliding off.I did initially have an issue because I did not receive one of the boxes from my order, but the company responded very promptly and professionally, and fixed the problem right away. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!

Very flimsy. Reminds me of cheap plastic hangers from children’s store with a velvet covering. Ok for blouses, light items, and spaghetti strap items. Don’t hang your coats on them or heavy jeans.

You are all short of Common Sense if you don't switch out your plastic hangers for this type of hanger. All your clothes will not be on the floor when you go to look for something to wear because they simply do not slide off these type of hangers, in addition you could almost double the capacity of your clothing in the closet.

I had a lot of different colors and styles of hangers in my closet before these. I ordered 3 sets for my new walk in closet and WOW...my closet looks so clean and uniform now and everything stays on the hangers. Definitely money well spent!
